There is an Explorer ST-Line as well, it's just looks. Same with Edge ST-Line, just looks. The Edge ST is a true ST.

My wife drives the 23 Escape Platinum and it really is a nice car. She LOVES it. That's all that matters. Safe car, lots of tech. That is good for her. I drive a 22 Explorer ST. More my speed. She has the white wood grain on the dash and it really looks amazing. Very clean. I have the carbon on mine. I like it. I tried to get her into the STline for the escape but she was not having it. The Platinum was what she wanted and it looks great and drives really nice with the 2.5L 250HP engine she has in it. A year later and I am still in love with my Explorer. I am just now starting to add mods. Thanks for the vid! 👍👍

2.0l EcoBoost is the 250hp and the 2.5l is NA and is in the hybrid only 191hp

They do in-fact have “ST tuned suspension” 4:30 Likewise, outside the base ST, the 2.0 is standard in the select and elite unless you option the hybrid. Each trim only has two engine options. 7:32

My focus is on the ST-Line package and badge across the lineup. Meaning one is able to buy an Escape ST-Line without the sport-tuned suspension (FWD). In addition, the ST-Line is available with three engine options. Therefore, the ST-Line badge doesn't necessarily mean sportier in terms of power or handling, only in exterior styling.

If you wat to make that escape handle much better you can put coilovers on it and control arms which make it handle more like a focus

They should have done what Merc and BMW do with there AMG/MSPORT packages, give the ST handling package with a 1inch lower suspension with a sportier exhaust and the hybrid and then it would have earned the STLine nameplate
