A lot of the complaints you mentioned are addressed in the CX-60 that they revealed months ago. Subaru has the CVT option only, I will never own a CVT vehicle, when they fail at 60k miles out of warranty, you'll know why $$$.

Almost bought one until I found out that it was built in the U.S with many parts from mexico. The reliability of this car will be horrendous. Bought all made in japan CX9 carbon edition instead. The built quality is night and day.

is this really competing with a Subaru Outback?

I love that the instrument cluster is not fully digital. they always look stupid to me when they are, look now way as good as the traditional gauges, this is probably the best mix in terms of asthetics

Analog gauges rule ✊ Only makes sense Analog gauges don't fail or flicker or need to boot-up, unless performance warrants digital gauges. Such as Lexus LFA or hypercars. Cheap junk going into cars these days

Not many car makers make good 8 speeds and up. Mazda sticks to their 6 speed automatics because it is proven. In time, I'm sure one is in the works.

Now I just wished that Subaru Outback offered: head up display, 360 view & electric folding mirrors but manual is ok. But I’m loving head up display & 360 view for sure!

I like it, I'm a fan of Mazda but still not as competitive as a Kia or Hyundai 🤔. Mazda needs to find it's place, either lower the prices to compete with other manufacturers or up your game to compete, you can't be overpriced and under whelming. That's a lose/lose in my opinion.

How is mazda overpriced? It is the best looking sporty suv with better interior material than its competitors.

@Dan M Exactly, Mazda give you a lot of car for the money, I paid 27.6k out the door for my brand new 2019 cx5 touring with preferred package its only one trim above based model and it already has all the needed features. I was impress all 4 windows are automatic and it also has rain sensing wiper at this price point. Meanwhile based Toyota rav 4 still use hubcab based Honda crv give you pathetic 4in basic screen from 10 years ago lol.

I see you cranking out videos left and right lately. When you get these week-long loaners, you must get 2-3 at a time then? Keep up the good work!

I love the more traditional interior dashboard and layout... I also love the traditional shifter... But the main problem here in America for the Mazda SUV's (and crossovers) - like the CX-5, CX-9, etc) was the lack of interior room - including lack of headroom. I was really hoping the new redesigned crossovers and SUV's would fix this major problem. So far with the redesigned CX-50 - I am disappointed. The interior still is cramped.. We would like more interior room - raising the roofline and making a taller roofline would improve so many things. It would increase all around comfort, interior room, increase headroom, increase driving enjoyment, and improve visibiility and improve safety - you see out better - means less accidents.. I know this (a higher roof) would make the vehicle slightly less fuel efficient.. But I would gladly trade bit less gas mileage for better visibility and better safety and the other benefits I mentioned earlier.. Hopefully Mazda remembers this when redesigning future SUV's/crossovers.

My current car has a very tall roof and there's tons of head room inside because of it. After stepping into a CX50 at a local dealer, I can't say I'd miss the height in my current car. I thought it was fine, and I'm 6' tall. I thought the same about interior space as well. The cargo area was much narrower than my current car though, that I could find as a small annoyance.
@howlingwolf125y2 жыл бұрын
@@ReDiiKuLuS Thanks Andrew for your thoughts.. I not only like more headroom but I also just like to sit up higher. I like the high commanding view for good visibility. Another thing I have noticed is that they are putting like a black box at the top middle of the windshield (on the windshield side of the rear view mirror).. This further reduces visibility and with less visibility it hurts safety in my view..

I like that color. Too bad Acura only sticks with basic colors and does not give you a wide range of color options like other brands.
