Whoever owns it cares less about their track times and more about driving as close as possible to a true race car, on any road. I can understand having a radio fitted... then you can have your phone on hands-free. Probably a bit loud to talk over the noise in the cockpit, but they get to say 'sorry I'm in my McLaren P1 GTR' if anyone complains during a call.

When I bought my first 570GT, I could not believe the effect it had on your senses when you floored it. For the first 5-15 times, your brain can not keep up with your eyes, which is both terrifying and exhilarating. Yeah I don't think even Doug understands just how permanent pressing that button is. I remember I think it was Manny talking about the fire button in his 935. Part of the road conversion really should have been a flip cover or something to further prevent someone from accidentally pushing that button. You have to really trust anyone you take for a ride in that car.
