When I first watched this season, I felt bad for troyzan because it seemed like the rest of the men had no idea what survivor was and did not know how to play. He's not a perfect player obviously but you can tell he really loves the game and at least gave it his all lol. Also Id want to see a season with the one world camp but not separated genders. I feel like the gameplay would be really interesting and stories too

Has any version of Survivor done a season long twist where winning individual immunity also loses your vote? I feel like that would be a fascinating wrench in the game. Idk if it'd be a good wrench, but I'd be curious to see how it affects things.

I like this!! I think it gives people on the bottom more of a chance at winning immunity since the top dogs would be more likely to throw the challenges to keep their vote. (They could maybe do the twist till f6 or f5)

Coincidentally, I was recently doing my first watch-through of all 43 seasons, and as I was making my way through, I started thinking about what twists the show could do in order to keep things interesting (something I knew the show was well-known for). I thought about "what if they make both tribes live together from the get-go?" Sure enough, not two seasons after I thought of it, they did it! But you're right, it didn't quite live up to the potential.

I rank One World as the worst season EVER. It's a complete mess. The season intro even has people wearing swap buffs. It's like they were drunk the whole time making this season.

This is my guilty pleasure season. Loved rooting for Troyzan when he was all alone. Colton and Alicia’s meteoric rise and fall is satisfying. Kim is also just such an intelligent and great winner, and she earned my respect even more when she chose to take her two closest allies to the end over the two obvious goats. Admittedly her allies weren’t that big of threats to win either, but still she did potentially risk a million just to play honestly, which I truly respect. It really symbolized the transitionary period Survivor was in at the time, when “honor” and “loyalty” were still highly valued but slowly falling out of favor to big moves and gameplay when deciding a winner.

One World, One Tribe, One Jury. I would do this theme again but everyone voted out is on the jury. and to really mix things up each challenge until "merge" is done completely at random. the winners can talk and try to influence the ones going to tribal but they won't actually go or see what happens until the tribes come back. rewards are done the same way. winners will take it back to camp but only they can eat the food or whatever. so other advantages like tarps or fishing gear must be purchased with, fire tokens. we're bringing those back cause they actually could work in the sense of advantage vs camp life. social vs strategy.

My least favorite season for only two reasons. 1. Every twist this show introduced had so much potential to really change the whole game. Especially the one camp concept. It should have played the whole game. Instead they separated on day 12, not even a third of the way through the game. 2. Colton. That's all I need to say.

Oh remember back when survivor had a large fan base and half of them watched to see the hot chick's and dudes? Remember when there was 2 maybe 3 diverse people that we all remember because they was very cool and stood out on the cast? Better than today's ugly Below average people they cast and the half tribe of diverse people who we all forget about because there are so many of them! The people that play today are the 1st boot type of characters we seen for 35 seasons! Add in the fact they are all scared to hurt each others feelings and get canceled. This show hasn't had a villain in years!! So which formula had the bigger fan base? Which one made them the most money? You know what? None of that matters because they are happy to have only half of that fan base and make no profit. Gotta be woke if you want that esg check in the mail.
