Thank you!!!!! This exercise fits right in with my exploration of laughter yoga exercise providing an alternative way to release energy that ordinarily/unconsciously would be expressed as sadness, anger, self-pity, etc. Laughter is a lot more FUN!!!!! 🙏😊

This is also excellent for those resisting the urge to drink because urges actually only last a few minutes. The come back too but everytime you use this to resist it gets easier.

Great insight Bill! I agree. Addiction is the result of inappropriate attention on an object. If we can drop the attention on the object, we drop the addiction. Laughter helps. I am sober myself. Celebrating a year on August 29! I once worked with a group of 40 sober men at a retreat. It was a powerful experience. Keep it up!

What is the 4th laughter exercise?
@laughactive3 жыл бұрын

This video made me smile and laugh. But you can’t force yourself to laugh 😂
@TheQueposfan5 жыл бұрын
I thought that too, but it is easy and now even before I pretend to laugh a huge smile comes to my face. And I feel so very much better afterward. I also use it to shut down my urges to drink alcohol because urges go away quickly when one gets distracted. If you believe you can not force yourself to laugh I honestly think you are not trying.

Oxygen is the greatest medicine. Oxygen through Yoga or laughing or even active snoring, oxygen feeds the cells which in turn help maintain or even heal the body. One point I disagree on is your claim that laughter real or forced offers the same benefit. I've discovered forced laughter comes from aggressive emotion while true laughter comes from the deepest realms of the Soul. The body may respond the same but the spirit is now negatively charged. With real laughter the spirit is healed also. Thanks for the video I enjoyed playing along. Peace.
