As you know, it’s my mission to help teach you how to build the MINDSET and SKILLS that will help you live an extraordinary life - and over the last few months I’ve been working hard behind the scenes to help create a brand-new tool that will help you do that. It’s called Kyzen - and I am proud to announce that I will be bringing it to the world later this year to challenge you to empower yourself and accomplish greater things in life. To learn more, join my Discord at impacttheory.com/discord
On Today's Episode:
Roughly 1% of the world is said to be millionaires, and the fraction of the worldwide population that are billionaires are even fewer. So, no bullsh*t, what does it take to become a billionaire, or even a millionaire. The answer comes down to habits and mindset.
Ultra-successful people think and move differently from everyone else. You may have heard Jim Rohn’s quote, “successful people do what unsuccessful people are not willing to do.” This applies across the board. If billion dollar status is a goal, and being ultra wealthy and successful is high on your list of priorities, start today with your habits. Focus on the right things that create forward progress, ask the hard questions, and question everything.
In this episode, 5 ultra-successful guests share what it takes and explain the inner workings and habits you can start to adopt and apply immediately. Dean Graziosi is an entrepreneur and investor that changed his life through real estate. Robin Sharma, former attorney turned leadership expert, has written books such as The 5 AM Club and The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari changed his life through spirituality. Ed Mylett is a peak performance expert and author of The Power of One More. Patrick Bet-David is the ultra-successful businessman from humble beginnings and author of Your Next Five Moves. Tim Ferris is an entrepreneur and investor that started the mega successful “4-Hour” self help series among other popular best selling books.
“It is incredibly empowering to know that your future is in your hands.” Keanu Reeves

QUOTES:
“What stands between us and where we want to go is never what we think it is.” Dean Graziosi [6:59]
“It doesn’t matter how many zeros are at the end or how big your company is, the pain is still there, [...] when your company's got 3 zeros, or nine zeros, or ten zeros, the stress and the worry is almost the same when you look back.” Dean Graziosi [21:39]
“People might ridicule you, [...] people might throw stones at you, but use them to build monuments of mastery…” Robin Sharma [33:24]
“It all starts with who you are because you’ll never rise any higher than what’s going on within you.” Robin Sharma [33:59]
“You can play with your phone, or you can be monomaniacally focused on being a history maker and legendary, you don’t get to do both.” Robin Sharma [41:36]
“Identity is the governor on our lives. It is the invisible force that no one understands, and once they do understand it and get a hold of it their life can change.” Ed Mylett [51:10]
“If you want a different life, an improved life, a growing life, and an increased life this version of you is inferior to get you to that place.” Ed Mylett [59:28]
“One of the scariest things about life is a question. The scary question can shake a soul up cause no one’s asked that question of you.” Patrick Bet-David [1:05:47]
“The gift of imagination and visualization is rarely used properly.” Patrick Bet-David [1:17:08]
“Some of your biggest flaws may in fact be assets.” Tim Ferris [1:32:55]
“Always pairing one serious with one absurd goal is brilliant.” Tim Ferris [1:43:44]

Ed Mylett is right: Tom is one of the best interviewers in the world. Tom is the reason I watch Impact Theory. Other people (like Lewis Howes) get the same guests as Tom, but I don't have the patience to watch an entire interview with them - as much as they try, they just can't go as deep as Tom.

counterpoint for Dean: my Mom was a CPA who owned an office with five people working under her. rather than hire a cleaning service, she always vacumed and emptied rubbish bins. i asked her about it, and she said she did it cos it gave her better idea of what was going on in the office among her people. or back to landlording: you mow the lawn; when tenant A complains about tenant B throwing cigarette butts off their balcony; whether it's true, a little true, a one-time thing, or simply a line of crap, that lawnmowing landlord knows instantly. above said: Dean is my fave of these guests, and proof is obviously in the pudding. and it IS absolutely wise to break free of minutia if it does not serve a purpose, or if it hinders the true moneymaking.
