I realize you're sticking with the later model bikes. You totally forgot "old Super Bike Guy". The old guy that has no F's to give and has at least 3 early Super bikes in his garage. Can ride the wheels off each one but rarely does. He has little patience for squids and unmuffled exhaust. Knows more about bikes than most professional mechanics. Even though most of his bikes are pre EFI and a pipe and tinted screen away from showroom condition. Can still smoke most modern bikes in the Twisties. That old guy you see chillin by himself at a meet with a first or second Gen GSXR 1100. Judging by his tires he never rides it. Judging by the pegs half ground off and knee sliders paper thin...the tires are two days old. That old guy that has that "get off my lawn" attitude when he looks at you. But once you man up and start a conversation. He's cool AF and has endless entertaining stories he's happy to share. You forgot about that guy.😁

The BMW R1250GS owner who only ever rides it on dry tarmac because he's terrified that if he drops it he won't be able to get it upright on his own (especially since he's kitted it out with ALL the "adventure" accessories and hard luggage) and that if something breaks it will cost a fortune to replace/repair ;-) This is particularly true of those who own one where the original warranty has expired and they now have an absolute money pit.

Now, laugh all you want/need.. but I’ve been following you and a few other for a few months now - and thought y’all talked about «leader-bikes»… thinking it was a common name for a fast /mean bike.

I'm a daily litre bike guy. I'd get a scooter, I think they make sense for trips less than 20 km, but the girls in Australia would laugh at you. Actually, come to think about it, I only wanted to get a scooter to start with, but now I'm riding a litre bike and never had a scooter, I'm blaming the chicks. I used to ride my FZ6R a lot more, you could ride that in all weather and for hours at a time.

And then there are weirdos like me who bought a broken 2002 Yamaha R1, tore it down and rebuilt or replaced nearly every major part. So I got it cheap but now I have over $6500 into it. But it'll be like new and I'm going to have a blast riding next year.

ok so a Buell 1125cr is my daily... reason being I'm also the guy with the 6L v8 in a tiny ke20 and a mod list longer than my arm. Believe it or not, the bike costs a lot less to run to work, it lets me lane split, cutting nearly 2 hours out of my commute and I can actually find a park in the city. No one hurt me, I just know what I like. Honestly, I enjoy my daily commute more than most on the road because of it so...

You would have as much fun with a 600, just less ridiculous and a lot more usable. And cheaper.

@@project_adderall4139 Aight mate, but you're not telling me you're making use of a 150hp liter bike on the street :) I am not going to tell you what to enjoy, but it'll always make me smile when people say they must ride a 1000cc to enjoy themselves, as if they at least use the bike's power on a road to work 😂

Commuting on my rsv4 right now (of course I have a car for grocery). Cuz the street is always crowded. A motorcycle is simply faster and rsv4 is the only bike I have. So....But I do have panic seeing mileage goes up since it's a aprilia XD

I have started on a liter bike, ik i keep saying this but i do not recommend doing so. My first bike was an 04 1000 and it wasnt all that scary except one time where it almost came up on me on a oneramp. I liked bikes too much just be scared not to get back on and try again. Eventually i ironed that out but im kind of spoilt on speed. I now have a 99 r1 restoration project bike.

I hopped from a 125cc onto a SV1000N - I like my old early 2000s Suzuki - the torque is great for cruising and once in a while, with twist of the wrist you enter Transwarp speed and scream "Hail Satan" Parts for that bike are ridiculous cheap and something tells me the SV1000S or N will enter the hall of forgotten classics in a few years.

You forgot one. The Yamaha boiii that knows only Yamaha is the best no matter what. This was his first bike and no matter how many other bikes he rides, it just doesn’t feel like that first one. If you disagree with him or bring up other good bikes - he’ll ask you if you’ve ever heard of Rossi. Then continue to tell you why it can’t be beat.
