Acadian 024 how do you train
@washingtonsideline21744 жыл бұрын
@@casino9039 I run unattached, I don't have a coach, so I don't know if it'll help. I average 64 miles a week, and I cross train on a stationary bike. I do a 10x400 or a 4x1000m workouts with my old high school every other week. Only reason I run unattached is because I'm attending a junior college:) Planning on running at Virginia Tech.

Racing advice question from someone who hasn’t broken 2:10 this season (yeah ik that’s really bad) How do you maintain composure through the third and beginning of the fourth lap?
@josephkennedy19544 жыл бұрын
AJ Shaw run the first 400 like a lap for time (at practice) so like 5 seconds above your 400 PR then the third lap act like it’s the last 200 and just take off... then when you come to the final 200 sprint with the adrenaline you have left Let me know if it is helpful for you

Back in my youth I ran the 400 & 800, the 400 is far more painful than an 800, not even close. Later in my career I ran a few 1500s. The 400 is king of pain but then again I never ran the 400 hurdles, that I assume has really got to be painful.
@ianbusche14712 жыл бұрын
You had more to give in the 800 then. Last 100m of a 400 is so bad, but the 800 is slightly less painful but for the whole last 200 so it hurts way more
