When Loki season 2 came out and I saw the ending I thought. “ oh wow what if they used this show as a way of rewriting the whole MCU”. Loki becoming the God of Storytelling would have been the best way to make a clean slate. Theres a JRPG series I love that prefers not to show mass death and not to kill off main characters, but will still use fakeout deaths (after establishing means of resurrection or surviving past the physical bodys death) as a means to drive characters and the story forward. the few named characters that do remain dead are respected and used very well. the low amount of deaths is controversial in the fanbase. there is a way to do it well, but needs to actually be planned out and theres still a very high chance people outright reject it even then.

It’s hard to take folks like this Ramos seriously because you know they are doing it because their revenue source, the MCU, is in danger. Thus, they need to placate and provide the “accepted” criticisms while also hammering they are still fans. It almost comes off as a kind of grift in that there’s a lack of sincerity and wanting to jump on a bandwagon because it’s safe. Whereas in the case of Marvel, it’s pretty evident that the MCU has been in a world of trouble since Endgame and that finally it’s hit its lowest point. The issue with a lot of this MSheU shit is that many of the actors are actually pretty skilled and had a previous resume of good work before joining the franchise Echo's actress can't act, but Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio are S-tiers A huge issue is a lot of the writing is shit, destroys the worldbuilding, and ruins many of the characters from how we much understood them to be.
