So let me get this straight. Yoda can sense Anakin slaughtering the Tuskins and the Jedi getting wiped out in Order 66, yet couldn't sense Smilo Ren slaughtering the Jedi left and right from the very beginning? WTF is this? And to add insult to injury, Vernestra and the Jedi covered up all evidence while Sol died like a chump and then they blamed him for all the deaths that was caused by Smilo Ren? Unbelievable. This entire show went from stupid to disgustingly insulting, its mind boggling.

Don't forget that the last scene with Jedi Master Nepotism talking to Yoda privately can only have 2 logical conclusions: 1) That she lied to Yoda too, which means Yoda was especially dumb and inept, or that 2) She told Yoda the truth and he was in on it, which means Yoda was corrupt and malicious, if we take into account the events of the Prequel Trilogy. In either case, this show has successfully also s*** on even Yoda's legacy, of all people.

They were trying to make the Acolyte feel just like the original trilogy. They thought it would be cool to recreate the scene where 3po was tangled up in wires on the Millenium Falcon. As soon as I saw that, it changed my view of the Acolyte - I realised Disney DOES care about the fans. And the Acolyte captures the essence of Star Wars like nothing else I have ever seen.

Bazil randomly sabotages the ship, Sol has no reaction towards him, he just steps outside the ship. Not to mention we didn't see how it landed given the damage that Bazil did and how he lost control of the ship. Just before that, May manages to slip the right hand from the bed restrain then next thing you know she is free with the left hand also. You notice these things because you are thinking "no way she surprise him and escape because the other hand is still tied and how much damage can she do with one hand?".

How did the senate find out about Jedi dying but not the high council? Why is the senate talking to Vernestra at all? Does she lead the high council now? What was that ridiculous Plagueis cameo? Leslie just bravely and stunningly helped a man in a position of power prey on women and possibly got some leftovers. If you think about it like a Disney executive, she's really the true heroine of the Me Too movement. Star Wars was misogynistic you see, because only the three most important leaders of the good guy factions shown on screen in the original 6 movies were women while the main antagonists were only 100% men. Then in the sequels there were only two new strong female bosses that ran everything and saved the day in each film while the male protagonists just ran around yelling names. They needed Leslie to educate the masses on how to treat women, how to really respect them...show them as evil, power-hungry monsters that betray everything they claim to believe for some D and a chance to escape all accountability. It is either deletion of the show, which won't happen or at least a split universe (won't happen under KK).

We could spend weeks describing the 100's of problems with this trash. One that no one has mentioned is during squid-game-guy's last lightsabre fight with Darth Sleaveless, there is a point where the lightsabres are locked together in a way that the fighters are pulling the sabres against each other instead of pushing. Basically, one of the fighters just has to let off the pressure to killed their opponent. Also, when Squid-game-guy did the flying double kick, Darth Sleaveless was fully free and open to slice and dice but instead just held his lightsabre out of the way.

Peak lazy writing was Green M&M ordering some nameless knights off. The writers didn't give them names for green M&M to address them by, despite riding in a starship together. Disney gave how much money to this, $180M? Didn't do any QA oversight during the "creative process". Bad dialogue paired with stilted deliveries. So the show ends with the girl going with the guy who killed her friends, who were with the guy who regretfully killed her mother, who she killed upon his confession. Green M&M covers it all up, and heads back to the Jedi Temple to have a pint and wait for this to all blow over.

Your response and opinion about this show is absolutely agreeable. Because all of these 8 weeks of episodes was like watching paint drying on a wall. Leslye Headland has no idea what Star Wars truly is. Herself and Kathleen Kennedy have destroyed the Star Wars Universe and turned it into a diabolical hell hole. And as you said, they are taking the piss on the prequels and the originals and destroying what George Lucas started. I've watched this show for each week and nothing from this show entertained me at all. Written and script is AWFUl, performances DREADFUL, and story does not make any sense. And the ones who love this show so much! Doesn't understand the true meaning of the Star Wars franchise. They rather stick to Kathleen Kennedy's way of Star Wars than actually look back what George Lucas started. Lucas made us Star Wars fans, and Kathleen comes along and destroys it all. Skeleton Crew is the next live action show and it's defentiley going to flop.

Love your review. The worst thing about the show for me was how they present the Sith as "not that bad" while the Jedi were "evil conniving meddlers". My dudes! The dark side corrupts everything it touches. At the end of the clone wars Anakin wasn't in his right mind while talking to Padme and duelling Obiwan. His face was markedly changed by the dark side and oh here Osha was still all pretty... just with bleeding red light saber. The lesson they are trying to teach is that evil is not that bad but good is! How much does this seep into their kid shows too I wonder.

It showed him a future where he redeemed himself, killed sidious and surrendered to obiwan asking for forgiveness like it took alot for that to happen. Now lightsabers are just.. moodrings? I can’t wait for the ‘Ordinary adventures of Jedi Mog’ to be released. Surely, this has to be next!? I mean this guy was so badass edgy and unpredictably exciting, he stole the show. A talented Jedi, so incredibly capable of delivering mundane messages in such an underwhelming way. His adrenaline fuelled performances were something to behold and kept us all on the edge of our seats for the entire duration of the series. We were kept guessing…what message is he going to deliver next? The Gripping tension whenever he appeared on screen eclipsed every other scene in the show. Memorable..truly memorable. Bravo!! Another thing I rolled my eyes at was how the green bald Jedi told allll the other Jedi to setup a perimeter 5 clicks out. And instead, they all apparently disobeyed her as they ran through the forest in one giant pack. So “set up a perimeter” was just something the writer thought would sound cool I guess.
