So fun fact about Abraham Lincoln: in the original draft of the episode "Sons of Mars", when Lincoln gave up his immortality to restore Jake's life, the scene would have shown Lincoln being transported back to the moment of his death at Ford's Theater, with the scene cutting to black as the sound of a gunshot rang out. The gunshot sound is still present in the episode, but Cartoon Network understandably demanded they cut the shot of the theater itself.

Prismo explains that his wishes have unknown side effects if you’re not specific. As an example he states a wish to get a back rub and points out that you don’t know who gives you the backrub, how they give it to you, etc. So, when Finn wishes the Lich never existed, his wish only made his world’s Lich never exist. However, the antics of the Farm-world version of Finn result in a different Lich being born At least this is my theory

Actually, only the intial trio are "was once smarter". Presumably, once Bubblegum knuckled down on creating Candy People, the Dum Dum formula was used as a fundamental part of the recipe rather then applied after making her citizens. They can't miss what they never had. Edit: Also The Candy People were in the middle of burying the radioactive waste when Shoko fell in.

There is a scene in that episode where Simon's corpse is shown wearing the crown when he shouldn't be (as Farmworld Finn is currently going crazy with it on), and Prismo literally editing it into there (so it's destroyed by the nuke) gives us an in-universe explanation. Best use of a retcon I've seen in a cartoon (so far).

The Adventure Time fandom really does have a thing for painting Princess Bubblegum worse than she actually is, and it's pretty tiring and ridiculous. Can she be controlling? Yes. Can she be manipulative? Yes. However this does not make her an irredeemable monster. Her actions are largely in an effort to try and keep things orderly and safe because she feels it is her job to do so. She got caught in this trap, and it led to how it is. If anything, she's simply flawed, like every other character in this series. She is not the absolute monster everybody decides she is because the fandom has absolutely no understanding or awareness of things beyond black and white. It's absolutely the same for the Steven Universe fandom regarding Rose Quartz and their obsession over viewing her as the worst while ignoring key things.

Interestingly, with regard to two of your jokes: Adventure time released In early 2010, with MLP: Friendship is magic releasing in mid 2010. The Adventure Time pilot released in 2007 but that's not as interesting. Also: Adventure time: Islands, which has the backstory of the Humans being on the Island with the guardians, released in January 2017. With Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild releasing in march 2017. Take that random off the cuff jokes about a show you knew nothing about prior to this video!

Her "family" were the only ones who were under control of the dumdum juice, and Gumbald brought it upon himself both times. Arguably, she could've made the candy people more capable of defending themselves, but she was trying to protect them by being controlling, not being authoritarian for power's sake. Obviously, she has done A LOT of wrong, like with the Rattleballs, spying on everyone, ruining the Fire Guardians, etc. But I think that's what makes her an interesting character. The show doesn't shy away from letting her be in the wrong, either. Many antagonists/bad people in AT tend to bring their downfall upon themselves (i.e. Gumbald, Evergreen, St. Patience Pim) because they don't change their views/ways. PB changing is what makes her different. Sorry for the essay lol, I like PB and just finished rewatching the show

You know what? I'm gonna say this in the comments of every video necessary. Although the timeline video made a mistake and said so, the Lich is not a primordial entity or even all that special. He is a humanoid with ram horns, likely due to mutation from the mushroom bomb, and is the incarnation of a catalyst comet just like Finn, with his immortality and skeletal form being due to some kind of magic keeping him alive-ish. We might get a full story on him someday, but the long and short of it is that he's just as much of a person as Finn, and he only knows about the primordial entities like Golb is because he did his research. He's a physical deformed scientist-sorcerer with mental health issues.
