Have a 2019. Amazing car. The aero on the car really makes the car so glued to the road. Amazing grip for the power it has. On the limit the car feels like a full blown supercar. None of my previous M3s gave me that feeling despite being amazing cars in their own right.

@carsandbids no problem. It took me a long time to really know the car. Race mode with dampers in mid is the sweet spot. I drive like this 99 percent of the time. The car feels so alive in race.

@jlopez1017d so far i havnt had any issues with the car. Just regular servicing. Didn't have much issues with my m3s either. Put throttle actuators into both of my e92s but other than those it was regular maintenance. The qv engine is ferrari. And its got the zf gearbox ..same box bmw use for the m cars. Very solid robust hardware.

2019 in my opinion is the best year, last year before “facelift”. Steering wheel in 2019 is much nicer than the later models

I had this car for three years and after you hit 10K miles the mileage goes up significantly. I was consistently getting 32 mpg on the highway and about 20.5 in the streets. It was amazing.

I traded in a 2017 Cadillac CTS-V for 2019 Giulia Quadrifolgio. The QV is lighter and more nimble, and more comfortable (I didn't realize how uncomfortable the Cadillac Recaro racing seats were, pressing on my lower back, until I changed to the Alfa Romeo). The ride is equally comfortable as the Cadillac, as they both have the real time damper adjusters, the power is about equal, although the CTSV-V with its 740 hp supercharged V8 is quicker off the line, but once they get going the QV pulls at least as well, although the CTS-V has a top speed of 200 mph, and the Alfa Romeo only 191 mph. Of course being in the United States and not taking it to the track, I never took it over 125 mph, which I reached a few times for a few seconds on the interstate. The problem with the Cadillac was a recurring torque converter issue and quality control of body fit, compounded in my case by probable undisclosed (and denied) repaired front end damage before I bought the car, new.

I would like to see more short “buyers guide” videos where common maintenance issues and reliability concerns are the focus. There is so much knowledge in the C&B community, but there’s unfortunately not a single place to ask questions/get information. Kennan, THIS …review resonated so well. You did your homework and then some. I related well to every comment including your technical observations. Yes the money was spent on engineering and suspension primarily equipped with a fast shifting transmission. It’s a truly bespoke car that remains well balanced for a sports sedan even seven years after inception with little change in the engineering. I cannot emphasize how well researched your facts are coming from a BMW enthusiast. Thank you for enlightening us with your knowledge and genuine passion. I've had many BMWs (including 21 M5C and 19 M2C) but none are as much fun to drive as my Giulia QV. The Jekyll and Hyde nature are second to none. You can take the car for a long trip and it absorbs all the bumps like a luxury car and then you put it in race mode and it can give a Porsche a run for its money on the track, which is why it was faster than the 911 GT3 (older generation) at the Nurburgring.

Giulias and stelvios are pretty good and reliable now, they've had 8 years to sort them out. Avoid a sunroof at all costs tho. Maintenance is quite a bit more expensive than kia tho

The only thing I have against the QV is that it just can't compete against M3's off the line, even less so against the xdrive version or even an RS5 cause of AWD. And most daily drivers want that quick acceleration from a stand still. Aside from that major drawback IMO, it does hold its own pretty well against those M3's and RS5's once you're cruising around 20mph or above. Though you'll still lose the race, but the feel and sound of the drive is still awesome. Just don't expect to pull up next to an M3, RS5 or any other decent AWD sports car, and beat them off the line lol not happening..

Holy balls, 35psi from the turbos. My Stinger GT stock is 13-14psi and I did an ECU tune to bring it to 20 PSI. (+110whp and +170wtq)

35psi is the absolute pressure (boost plus atmosphere), 20 psi of boost pressure at sea level. About the same as your tuned Kia.

Modern Alfas of the 20teens are as reliable as any other manufacturer out there. Maybe more so. The only issues I have really heard of center around the factory battery which I would swap IMMEDIATELY with a Bosch or Interstate brand. There are plenty of videos that show you how to do this as well as clear the codes that will result after disconnecting the negative terminal. This will save you money at the dealer as well as save you a headache and $$ by eliminating the OEM Alfa battery.

the chief designer of that car used to work for ferrari. ferrari didn't have any input. it was engineered by alfa Romeo along side sauber
