Fuck CM Punk. I want him fired. I never want to see him in a wrestling ring ever again. Get him out ! The Bucks I can take or leave. There has been pretty long periods in AEW when they've done nothing and I didn't really notice their absence. Losing Kenny would really suck since I really did feel the void he left when he was out with his injuries. I want Hangman to stay since I think he's the guy who can carry the company into the future. But I will keep watching AEW even if it loses all those guys. There is still a ton of stars (present and future) who can carry the company.

I'm not going to say this is the beginning of the end of AEW. If TNA is still surviving after almost 20 years of bad decisions, a clueless boss and never getting out of first gear, then AEW should be able to survive some backstage drama. This event did shake my confidence in AEW, though. I really hope this was a wake up call to Tony Khan and he finally decides to put his foot down and get control of the bigger egos in his company.

It’s so obvious that Punk thought this was going to be a pipe bomb like WWE…brought out soda and cupcakes as props to help with the memes…but he forgot that he’s 42 now, has regressed a LOT in the ring and has a public rep on the edge of being a prick, and this just tipped it over the line. Instead of creating a badass meme… he just made himself a cringy one. Tough to see him come back from this tbh. Finally burnt his last bridge, with company’s and the fans

Cody and Brandi, FTR, Jake Roberts, Arn Anderson, Brian Cage, Shawn spears and Tully Blanchard, just to name a few, have had issues with them but are keeping their mouths shut out of misguided respect, I guess, for Tony Khan. AEW created an atmosphere of "shooting". That was a mistake from day one, but lots of fans liked it. They liked it when Jericho talked about bad creative after fans chanted We The People. Fans liked it when Punk and MJF took shots at Miz. Now when Punk continues that unprofessional nonsense by calling out The Bucks, mocking PWG and Hangman Page those same fans get all upset. The "shooting" never should have been a part of AEW's dna. It was always going to go badly. Punk was right about a lot of what he said. The way he said it and where he said it were totally out of place and insubordinate. Looking at AEW's brief history, why wouldn't he feel comfortable doing what he did? The boss goes on Twitter and pats himself on the back over ratings. I hoped that this situation would teach TK a lesson, but MJF's promo makes me think that it didn't.

The recent actions of CM Punk make me disappointed because the rivalry that got me into wrestling was CM Punk and Jeff Hardy in 09. Punk was my favorite wrestler for the longest. When he left wrestling I was devastated. For years I thought wwe was in the wrong for letting him go but after the media scrum in aew I think wwe did the right move and released him. Releasing him on his wedding day was a uncalled for move but releasing him was probably best for business. Ryback probably was right about the things he says about Punk.

Everybody was in the wrong (Punk, Hangman, The Elite, Ace, and TK) Hangman is wrong for going into business for himself and basically opened pandora's box to this entire situation Ace is wrong for basically throwing the chair at Nick that could've killed him and biting Omega The Elite is wrong for having the altercation with Punk and possibly leaking info that accused Punk of something he more than likely didn't commit whatsoever Punk is wrong for his rant in the media scrum (justified or Unjustified) that embarrassed the company all because of his inability to let go of grudges (punk should consider taking anger management) and having the altercation with the elite And TK is wrong for letting this entire Punk/Elite Situation get as far as it did Nobody looks good in this situation whatsoever. This is great long-term storytelling that includes so many different people. THIS is the type of stuff that will draw CASUAL fans. Show a video like this to anyone who doesn’t watch wrestling and they’ll probably say that’s an interesting story. It may draw many of these non-wrestling fans and casuals to the product. It’s all drama, and everyone is talking. When they say that “this could be on dark side of the ring” that’s legendary status.

Wrestling and life goes on with or without them. Punk said it best He’s just a spoke in the wheel and just like the Elite are a spoke in the wheel. Overall I just hope all of them can crush it and continue working harmoniously. This isn’t the first time wrestling drama has happened and won’t be the last. So in the meantime we just watch the product, the wrestlers who ARE there and busting their asses. Sidenote: this isn’t just regarding Punk but I hate the whole injury prone jokes when it comes to wrestlers cause a majority say they understand wrestling is hard on the body but then make fun of these guys when they get injured or when it’s hard on their bodies. Maybe it’s just something in wrestling culture that’s just dumb/counter productive on these guys not feeling pressured to go out there even though their bodies are in shambles which makes me think of Kenny Omega and even Jon Moxley who’s carrying the company now.

Excellent video, once again. My opinion is Punk couldn't keep up with AEW's talent and his pride wouldn't let him admit that (to himself and/or publicly), so he decided that running down the talent and the EVPs was a way to make him look like he's too good to be there. But, with his in-ring performance, I don't think anyone is buying that.

Maybe CM PUNK'S handling the things were wrong, but quite honestly put yourself in his shoes. Imagine you being blamed for something you never did and having idiots barking at you like you're the reason for someone's firing. I love the ELITE to death but still Punk was bombarded with false accusations.

None of these guys (Punk included) would work at at WWE, the “elite” would have to slow down there style which I don’t think they would want to do and Punk for obvious reasons wouldn’t get along with Trips

I mean thanks for explaining the video, but also seems like you were a little biased against punk. Wasn't it hangman that kinda opened Pandora's box here though? He didn't have to go to business by himself. He's not really innocent

@Matt-cr4vv 10 ай бұрын
Be honest with yourself though. Would you have thought much about hangman’s promo had Punk not blown up like he did? I had no idea the promo was an issue until the scrum. To me it was just a promo. Reactions play a big role into how big an issue becomes. Even if the promo was wrong it didn’t warrant the scrum.

The Elite & CM Punk are too valuable to AEW so for Tony Khan to fire them or let them go to WWE would be damaging to his business more so than the so called controversy think the 3 pc & a soda Masvidal gave to Leon Edwards , the punch up after Nurmagedov Vs Mcgreggor etc & that's real unlike pro wrestling.AEW should make them have a on screen feud with each other regardless of whether they sort out their differences in real life or not .

I haven’t watched wwe since 2012 but if Kenny goes, I’m watching weekly like I never left. It’d be crazy to have all elite wrestling without the elite. I like tony but his mark-ness is showing. Punk hasn’t defended his 2 reigns because of injury And on that alone he should be choosing the elite over punk for the long term but nope. Tony has a lot of maturing to do and he wants to be like Vince or hunter so bad. He needs to let somebody else run the day to day and booking and just generally oversea things. And stop sitting in those pressers. Kenny, Jericho, mox, danielson and cole should be playing hot potato with the title for a few years using those reigns to brings guys like Sammy, mjf, jungle boy etc. up to a main even level.

I was born in '98 so I didn't see it as it transpired but going back to Bret Hart is it not likely a man who idolizes him would act the same? and to make things a bit worse off, it's a man who seems to not have earned the respect of his peers like Hart had but feels entitled to it?

Here's how I feel Tony made the right decision by suspending CM Punk and the elite and striping them of their titles it was the right call I don't believe he's not going to fire them because he knows how valuable they are and also they are in the verge of getting brand new TV deals they're not going nowhere let them do that time being suspended and once they come back what things out apologize to Tony Khan into the fans and everyone in the locker room and continue moving on as business as usual that's all because I want to see a e w get better they already doing fantastic well I want them to be successful they just got to get their act together and Tony need to start being more better of a leader because we need him to be

Now, if the Elite has problems with Japan, problems with Cody, problems with BPCClub, problems with FTR, problems with Punk, who do you think is the problem? A veteran that -because he has the back of being the main draw in the entire company- doesn't buy shit from others (plus having that exact track record of actions in his life)? Did this guys really thought that spreading shit about Punk plus surprising him unnoticed on national television (a never in wrestling) were going to breaking him or that he wasn't going to blow the shit back to them? Really? To the one professional wrestler in the company that sold millions X REAL? REAAAALLLYY STUPID KIDS MOVE

In my opinion Punk is a heat magnet, however that's what you need in wrestling & entertainment, eyeballs on your product and that's exactly what punk did. The bucks on the other hand being EVPs shouldn't have gone into Punks locker room and none of this would have happened. Those kids are not fit to be in position of power, no wonder Cody left.
