The Velveteen Dream was once pegged to be the future posterboy for WWE but now he is one of the most hated and detested wrestlers today. Is the case of a sick pervert who got what he deserved or is it the case of an innocent man getting his dream taken away?

No, dude is a creep. Sending pics to kids? Trying to video his coworkers in the restroom? Then posting a reply video making like he doesn’t know how to use a cell phone: “Is this on?” Then at the end “How do you turn this s___ off?” Come on man, this is the digital age, stop playing like you don’t know how to record a video. Velveteen Dream vs. Aleister Black was the match that made me a wrestling (not sports entertainment) fan. This is why I started watching NXT and eventually, I started watching NJPW because of the culture I loved in NXT. Now, his career is like an episode of Dark Side of The Ring.

After watching this I get the feeling them allegations were targeted at him from the start and he fell right into their trap even if he meant well in the beginning afterwards with the shaking hands things sometimes you gotta bite your hand and do what your told, the gym assault was another easy one he could've avoided by just leaving when asked to unless to employee was being ruder then implied by the story cause sometimes people tend to leave out detail of their own bad actions. Not saying the guy was probably lying about some things but in the story it's said they got into an argument and people tend to unleash cuss eachother out in those situations
@AgeOfWrestling
@AgeOfWrestling Жыл бұрын
Yeah tbh, some of the allegations that were targeted against were a little bit fishy. I feel like some of the allegations must have been fabricated (like text) but I do think most of it was legit. I feel like velveteen was walking a thin line with talking to minors in the first place
@glacialemperor
@glacialemperor Жыл бұрын
I feel like some of it could have been legit but since we know only 2 valid conversations he had with minors in the video and the 3rd one was part of a group chat called exposing n-word for lack of a better term 😔, I believe a lot of those other so called minors he talked to should be taken with a grain of salt and investigated to see if they were in any groups like the kid who exposed himself. I also think that if WWE said they found nothing truly incriminating we should somewhat understand that he might have been more innocent than most people first believed. His later action spoke for themselves and he should've just ignored most of the DMs from fans unless he actually planned to get the aspiring wrestlers proper training

Even though nonce is a word (don’t know if Americans use the word nonce) which is used as a slang in England for a paedophile actually a nonce is someone who has been convicted of a paedophilic crime/s with the word coming from the prison system with every letter meaning something (I can’t remember what it all stood for now) and nonce is the abbreviation used by prison guards to describe an inmate who is in for a sexual crime against a child. So unless he’s been convicted of a paedophilic crime he technically isn’t a nonce.

Met this guy at wrestle mania 34 access in New Orleans, he was for lack of a better word an asshole, and seemed just strange. Not surprised by this at all.

You sending her a meme just makes you another online bully. What she did and said was terrible and, she’s paying for it. It seems like she’s done a lot of growing up over the past year from what I’ve read. Tweeting her back a stupid meme makes you just like all the other trolls online. You’re no different. Like Tessa, you may need to do a little growing up as well.

To me, it just seemed like he was a victim of circumstance. Could he have handled it better? No doubt. But he deserves a way better ending and once everything gets sorted, I'd be happy to see him back in WWE.

He essentially got his life ruined by underage females on Twitter with hair dye who cancel people for a hobby. 17 and 19 is ridiculous. I wonder how many talented people have never lived to their potential this generation due to "modern times" bs.

because the wrestling community is filled with saddos and they/thems that love ruining mens lives, riddle, theory scurll and dream all got basically false or exagerratedd accusations. a few bad actors like jack gallagher got caught but other than that it was just an exercise in ruining mens lives
