And not the fake defamation they accuse Hax of LOL. According to these TOs, defamation includes any criticism, including Technicals, Franchise, etc. But that was ACTUAL defamation, completely misrepresenting the situation, and then when you actually read the documents you realize what they did.

I've basically completely forgiven and now fully understand why Nintendo is the way it is with the figureheads of smash. It turns out they were completely right, and the company that entirely subsists of manchildren buying their products doesn't entirely trust those manchildren to handle their IP's with any professional consistency.

People NEED to get this in to their heads. Nintendo isnt stupid, they dont ignore smash, they’re a very aware company(especially the US branch), they’ve seen the community since the beginning and they dont want anything to do with it. They send reps out to tournaments of all sizes and see the degeneracy taking place, they see the behavior of the players on the internet and none of it aligns with their brand image. They wearnt down with the heavy use of the rape word a decade ago and theyre not down with the constant racebaiting and sex talk of the modern scene, its a fucking kids game

These lunatics are just fascinating to me, They're quick to unban Nairo who to this day hasn't shown this 30 page document that apparently exonerates him for sex with a minor. but apparently it's just to much of a blurry gray area when a man who was harassed and ridiculed to where his mental state declined because he called a sociopath narcissist loser hitler. Who started the beef with him and has walked away with no repercussions. I love smash for the Gamecube and Switch.

I was in an argument trying to be charitable, when they said he was any kind of phobic it was not a, "Ehhh...I'm not sure if he was..." I said, "No he wasn't." People are literally taking what their friends said and running with it. Every relevant cancelled Smasher, has a description of their controversy, not even there where it's likely updated by biased individuals, does it entail anything about him being transphobic. Melee's TOs are cooked.

I personally disagree with the LGBTQ movement/organization as a whole since I believe they promote and uphold ideas and practices that are destructive to individuals and society as a whole, but I don't hate gay/trans people as individuals themselves. Most are simply suffering, traumatized, and broken people, which can honestly just be anyone's condition. They're just as good and/or bad as anyone can be on an individual level depending on their actions. I just wish my approach and thoughts on the matter, made with genuine concern and thought for the humanity of people, wouldn't get me banned on public platforms for trying to discuss them.

Why on earth does Hax being banned by a certain group mean he MUST be banned everywhere? Smash is not centralized. TO's can make their own decisions Also can confirm Hax is an absolutely great guy to have at every event. Guy showed up at my LOCAL one week and played friendlies with everyone.

Imagine someone get's sent to prison for "harassement" get's told that they're going to stay there for an undetermined amount of time and after 5 years, he desperately asks if his time is up and they decide to extend his time for even asking. While letting people who have doxxed, harrassed and lied about others with 0 punishment in fact they getting rewarded. All of this is happening in the melee community and it's absurd to see this treatment of an other human being, it's honsetly pure evil.

No community in the FGC has TOs as egocentric as Melee's. Probably because other games generally are monitored by their creators and as such any bad apples are banned from official stuff, which gives TOs guidance on whether or not they should be allowed. Helps that most majors are part of a circuit. Hey, if only that was something Smash had. You'd be able to have a proper board regulating player conduct and creeps like Nairo wouldn't be able to just saunter back in. Wonder why Nintendo hasn't thought of doing that! ...Oh, wait.

Can we just call what this situation actually is? It's a conspiracy. Yes, Hax did so something that would warrant a ban, but not a permanent one, and all of these people are coming together to stop this man from playing a video game at any cost. This has gone past being unjust and has gone into full-blown conspiracy territory. They DO NOT want him to be a part of their community.

The conspiracy word carries a certain sense of paranoia to it, but when they literally throw a fit when other TOs who are under no obligation to ban hax allow him to play, and are like "why didn't we contact us so we could systematically convince you to ban him with alleged information only we have (and likely is either fabricated or greatly exaggerated because they just hate the guy, otherwise there would be no reason to not publicize this information)", often in public twitter tantrums, then it becomes really hard not to call it that. It is a systematic coordinated effort to keep the man banned permanently for the crime of spiting Leffen once and *daring* to apologize and then, after getting absurd ban terms & lengths, *daring* to ask for being unbanned. Nothing more, nothing less. It is completely unhinged. These TOs are actually terrible, petty, power hungry, pathetic people.
