Nice. I'm thinking of getting one of these for my sports car that I store in the winter. Would be so much easier to take this battery out of the vehicle and trickle charge at home during the winter. Expensive AF, but if it can last 10 years.. it would pay for itself.

That was very convenient. 👍

It's awesome.... I have since found out from the manufacturer that you can also re-set (restart) the battery with a 12v tickle from another 12v source... just need to fun some wires out from the battery somewhere and carr a small 12v jump batt ... hmmmmmmmmm next project 🤠👍

@@brownies-midlifeadventure5333 That's realy nice. I gues that the on board 12v outlet is blocked by the can-bus, I mounted an external "inlet" on my battery for trickle charger on our bikes to be able to charge the battery now and then during the winter. The cable in them are porbably to thin for jump starting, but with that type of battery they would be perfekt for re-seting.

@@JoonesAdventuresMC no, I think the cable would be ok... As it just needs a tickle to reset it self you don't need that tickle to be connected to restart the bike, just to wake up the main battery.... I don't have a trickle charger on my bike as I have no power where it is kept...

@@brownies-midlifeadventure5333 For us a trickle charger almost is a must. No riding from arround end of October to the end of Mars. Of course you can ride in the winter but its cold and the roads may be icy or coverd in snow or slush. Luckely the battery for the 750/850 is easy to reach. Direcly under the saddle, no tools needed only the key.

@@JoonesAdventuresMC I'll let you keep the cold weather - winter here is around 26c (78.8F) that's cold enough for me 😎👍 The only thing I don't like about F800gs is getting to the battery...
