You honestly blew my mind when you said that you collapse your layers/prefer to stay low-impact. I have always worked that way because I have never had the money to use good equipment, so I had to learn to work with flats- I figured I could just save iterations of the flat files anytime, like save states/images. I thought I could never, ever be considered for professional jobs because of my propensity to flatten out my images-- all the times I tried to collaborate on files with other artists, they used so many layers and I felt lost and unprofessional. I'm going to buy your "The Art of the Storyboard with Lyndon Ruddy". Thank you for giving me hope! Maybe I can finally fully develop my hobby/dream into my career after all. :)

Loving all your courses! The latest one i got was a pre-order of the wolves one and im totally gonna buy this one too! I finished the anatomy one and it was spectacular, so easy to understand how everything works. I still find it a bit tough venturing out on my own and drawing body parts by myself, not following you like i did with the videos, but whenever im stuck i just rewatch. xD Also I am really grateful for all the sales that you do every month, it really helps me with being a uni student and all, even the currency exchange tries to make my life miserable. Much love from Bulgaria! Will be impatiently waiting to see what else you'll offer in the future xD

Yeah, I think of it like a play. You see it from the audience’s view. So you want to have characters facing each other as if the audience was seeing it and you’re switching between different audience seats. Or it’s different angles like a filmed musical would be. I don’t know if what I’m saying makes sense or if it’s even just stupidly obvious, but yeah.

Good morning Aaron, First thank you for all thoses tips and tools you're providing us. I guess you're busy so you probably don't have time to read all the comments, but i'm gona try : Personnally right now, my main challenge is shapes and volume. I struggle with consistancy because I have hard time mastering volume in perspective so my drawing is suffering because of it. I want to do things right and to do so I know that I have to learn them right. Do you have any exercice to recommand to better volume representation in space please ? Have a great day !

Maybe a stupid newbie question, but, is every panel 1 photoshop/psd file? Or are all the panels in one file in layers? Just wondering how you pan from right to left as the knight runs over to the left side: is the background a still, and you have the knight in layers as he runs across the background? or is every frame, as the camera pans left, a panel? -_-

This is undoubteddly amazing content ! but I wonder who edited the video itself? The camera work is very distracting during the beginning when Lyndon starts to speak. The way his face points at different sides between cuts make it seem like the colourful Lydon is speaking to black and white Lydon :p
