Top, Can a DA Form 4856 be issued and then later removed from the Soldier’s personnel file, when they improve and comply, so as not to have anything negative in their personnel file? Please advise…. V/R, Chris

“Can” you? Yes “Should” you? I don’t think so. It’s a local file, and doesn’t follow them. That would be like taking a positive event oriented counseling out of someone’s file just because they messed up. My 2 cents.
