As someone who sings 4 hours of choral music a day, Austin talking ab seeing an ENT and going on vocal rest has never made me feel more represented
@Rosesfalling14 Жыл бұрын
For real, developing any kind of growth on your vocal chords is damaging emotionally and mentally as a vocalist. Its one of the scariest things. When my choir teacher had to leave her job because she could no longer sing(she developed nodes from vocal strain), that made me have a new appreciation for vocal rest and my vocal chords.
@jialulol Жыл бұрын
@@Rosesfalling14 I'm involved in various choir programs and am usually always preparing for competition so I sing quite a lot. Over at the start of last year until summer this year, I started loosing range rapidly and it def wasn't voice change and it got so bad my voice teacher and one of my choir directors recommended I see an ENT, and I'm still receiving therapy for swollen vocal cords and had to sing alto for the year and give up my soprano section leader spot. Good for u for being conscious of ur vocal cord health, a lot of my peers just keep pushing through vocal strain 💀

Alright, since I don't see any actual answers the the tampon question, here you go Ted. As an AFAB (who actively tries to avoid tampons bc dysphoria) Austin is right. Most period-havers that use tampons use 2-3 a day. However, we don't sleep with them in so "a day" is just awake hours. (At least, I've been told not to sleep with them in.) One tampon (depending on the brand/size of tampon and the flow of the period-haver in question) lasts about 6 hours. The only times I use them are when swimming, so my info might not be 100% true. (Plus, it really varies from AFAB to AFAB.) Great podcast episode boys!❤

okay, so here is the story. I am coming back from my coaching classes at 8:50pm I am in the metro and listening to the podcast, when at 1:04:39 schlatt throws the curve ball of unlimited bacon and unlimited games. I blurt out what is possibly the biggest laugh I have had in the last 2 years! So many eyes avert towards me and that makes me laugh out louder and I just pick up my bag and dip. (sad part was I dropped my bottle and it was a pretty cool bottle with little sippy cup straw) and making the mad dash towards the train door laughing like a crazy person was the happiest thing. I am so glad that something that foolish and silly happened to me, made a total fool of myself but I was still laughing. It was epic, you should have seen me and you would have laughed out loud too.... cause uk.. you know the reason why I was laughing. those other people did not know, they just stared. anyway. made me laugh. made me lose a nice bottle. made me feel less stressed about studies for a time. I was happy to wait out for the next train... It came like 3 minutes after and I kept laughing at myself all the while. I am writing this on my notepad on the way home lol dont wanna forget this story. I wont be able share it with the people ik. and to you strange person reading my crazy ramblings, go out and leave me be. I am veryy happy atm, I laughed a lot. might have laughed to cure cancer I tell you! this is just a little memoir for me for something silly that happened to me SO FUCKING GOOD this episode HAHAHHAHAAAAAA
