Yeah, I'm certain that none of that was real. Dude was probably feeling so proud of himself and wrote this fanfic to boost his own ego.

I don't think OP is a native speaker of English. When they say "the stick that broke the camel's back" when that staying usually goes "the straw that broke the camel's back", it makes me think that maybe AI helped write/translate the story. That would account for the awkward uses of the terms "male" and "lesbian". So the cringe may be unintentional.
@NoodlesWoodles3 ай бұрын
Lesbian isn't a bad word though lol. It's just what a lesbian may call themselves (me included). And while it's true that it could be AI translated, you also have to consider that plenty of incels (the kind of people who may want to write a self insert story about "turning" a lesbian straight through the sheer power of his peepee) use terms like "male" and "female" to describe real human beings. I still agree that English may not be their first language, but the usage of those two words aren't really a huge indicator lol

Just posting this thought as a separate comment... To my shame, I've told people stories before that I pretended to be ashamed of. Things I did that I shouldn't have, but I was happy I did it. The reason I am bringing this up is because, when I told those stories to those people, I would constantly stress the supposed bad parts that I took pride in, pretending like they were the things I hated most about what I did. So from the perspective of someone who has done that... this story feels like it was written by someone who is proud of what they did, and is pretending to be ashamed, but they have to constantly remind you that they, A MALE, got a MARRIED LESBIAN to fall in love with them! What I'm saying is, I don't think this person is ashamed at all, and just wanted to get the story out there because they take pleasure in telling the story to people and pretending to be ashamed or upset about it. But maybe I'm just projecting.

OP seems to have been fulfilling an emotional need for Peaches that wasn't being satisfied by her wife, so I think that's where the romantic feelings blossomed from, rather than 'omg I turned a LESBIAN straight with my MALENESS'. I play a [technically] male Viera, they're really not that masculine, so I could believe some gay wires got crossed, especially if they weren't using voice chat. I believe this story is real, I don't feel like OP left out any details that would warrant further scrutiny, but the way he harps on how he's A MALE and she's A LESBIAN WITH A LESBIAN WIFE comes off, if not boastful, then naive of how complex emotions and relationships can be. Which I think is worth a laugh.

Honestly I go to balmung ul'dah daily, it doesn't surprise me at all that this happened. The thing is, I feel like this probably happens 20 times a week to different people. The thing that gets me, is why on earth did he let it go so far, and why did he indulge this girl's drama, and go even further and involve himself in the relationship? I'd have blocked the moment she said she had feelings and didn't respect me telling her to go back to her wife.

Tbh this story sounds quite made up to me. All the flexing was a bit too weird, the emphasis on how a *LESBIAN* fell in love with a *MALE* guy was a bit too much. Idk, I have doubts about this being real.

Dunno, seems fake. Not because a lesbian falls for a man (I've seen it happen a few times, even happened to me once) but something about the way the story is written is, as the kids say, sussy wussy. Unsure if something is being left out, or if it's fake entirely.

Peaches probably isn't even a lesbian. I've seen this happen on occasion and I'm pretty sure lesbians can attest to this but there are a lot of women out there who claim to be lesbian/bi and really aren't, or just thinking its a switch you turn on and off. Likely a gross over estimation but I had a friend who done this to a lesbian as well as a lesbian friend who had this happen to them.

The thought in my head of a generic 'anime sex face' while saying 'It felt good to be paying it forward'. Or just that face from Pint's '10,000 hours of mage' video thumbnail. I'm sorry for the mental image this may cause you. Also this actually makes me think of my own experience where me and my best friend would RP all the time, and then she broke up with her BF, and got a new one, who said they didn't mind us RPing. Then one day, they suddenly decided they were not okay with it, and demanded they cut contact with me over it... rather than just, asking us to stop? So my best friend, being the great friend that they were... obliged. ALSO also... they used to say 'You don't choose to be straight, you don't choose to be gay, but you choose to be bi'. As in like... our brains are hard coded to be attracted to one gender or the other, so being bi is a choice. But I'm not sure if you're 'allowed' to say that these days.

I dont know any lesbians so no idea how that works. In the end I suppose one shouldnt try to label people. If Peaches fell for a guy, online no less, than I have to assume her relationship with her wife was strenuous already. One doesnt fall for someone online while being in a relationship if that relationship was all peaches and cream - no pun intended.

I’m a lesbian, I tend to engage with mm/mf because there’s generally more content. Also one of the things that lead to me realizing I was a lesbian was that I’m only attracted to fake men. Aka video game characters/comic book characters. I would edate people from MMOs in my teen years and always felt SO DISAPPOINTED when I saw their irl faces. Turns out I was gay, didn’t really find real men attractive and I was barking up the wrong tree. I could potentially see myself doing that type of rp with a dude if I was single.

this story reminded me a bit of when my gay friend said that he had a crush on me. the thing i believe with sexuality is that it is how most of your relationships and emotions will lean, but it isn't a 100% you will always end up with person of x gender when you identify as hetero or gay/lesbian. also we are only really seeing surface level about the story while not knowing peaches' side

It's a misconception that all LGBTQ+ people are fixed into one sexuality, and people don't change their sexuality depending on their partner. Someone who is bi or pan doesn't stop being bi or pan if they are in a same sex relationship, they are still attracted to men. But some people say they are 'gay' or 'a lesbian' for ease, but they may actually be bi or pan and just in a relationship with someone who is same sex or different sex/gender.

I had an ex coworker who was very much a lesbian (with plenty gfs) develop a crush on me. We fooled around for a while and although I didn't take it seriously, she was convinced that she wanted to be mine. Still, I was apprehensive and thought it was just fleeting emotions. Ngl it was an ego boost, not just because she was a lesbian but because she was so desired by many. We decided to remain friends and she now has a wife. Sometimes labels are just that and it gets messy when the heart (body) wants what it wants. 🤷🏾♂️

Yawntrail has been dull, hope it gets better... Pathra not everyone FROM Balmung is a sex starved weirdo, next time you go there go down to the sands and see how many people are "Wanderers" or "travelers" The vast majority are. We the people who call the server home wish you would all stay on your own server and do that crap but we don't always get what we want. Also Streamers always going there and making it seem like it's such a wild and crazy place to people watch do not help. What happened to this OP happens all over the different servers and data centers not just Balmung.
