What if they do a series of stand alone Batman movies from different A-list directors giving us their vision of the character. A Denis Villeneuve version, a Chad Stahelski version, a Robert Eggers version. Each could play up different aspects of Batman over the years.

Probably not because when the first Batman comics become public domain it will generate this type of universe. But more importantly those are blockbusters, $200M films, they want it to be a single star instead of anthology because it maximizes audience engagement and lowers risk. Anthologies only work for TV series and lower budget movies as the original Halloween, it was planned and could have worked as an anthology.

I hope everything is well now with Reeves , there are bigger things in life then making a movie so I’m glad Gunn & Safran gave him time to deal with that. Anyway , I wish shooting starts sooner then later on this since I want to see more of this take on Batman & his world having been a big fan of the first film and The Penguin!!.

All this because his marriage broke down, behave. Take some time away indeed, but a wait up to maybe 2027 because of that, come on now. More like Gunn doesn't want Reeves upstaging his Justice League Superman movie. How many people are going through the same thing and still have to get up and do their job, working 60 to 80 hours to make ends meat? How many deal with sickness or even death of loved ones and still have to attend their responsibilities. Reeves is in a leading position where everything depends on him. He doesn't get to sit around because he's sad. He's holding everything back. It's not a standalone project, your part of a big universe and you need to deliver on time or everything else gets delayed. If you're becoming the problem, you need to go. I'd cancel that movie and focus time and energy on the real Batman. Superman is coming out in a few months. How long do we have to wait for Batman because of Reeves constant delays. Gunn wrote the Superman script in 6 to 8 months. Average Joe would not get a pass to neglect his work, neither does this rich guy. Get up and do your job, Reeves.
