Sometimes it almost sounds a little dorky and comedic, but that kinda fits the movie, which is serious and like a noir mystery film, but kinda comically self aware (like when Batman first enters the scene and everyone goes silent, all you can hear is the squeaky sounds of his latex suit and you realize how stupid him being in that suit really is)

I love how, while she attacks him out of fear and surprise, once he got the book he wants (passport? looks like one), she realizes he has no intention of harming her, and she chases after him and grabs for the book like a high school kid who just got her diary taken away or something, but she's not attacking him anymore.

It's Year 2 Batman. He's not quite a the point where a lot of the things he does is second nature, only the basics. Even his tool use is shoddy compared to the others and he was visibly shaken at the thought of using his flight suit. The sequel is likely to ramp up his skill and start introducing other things that make him more iconic since this is a Batman that can grow.

A few things to note here 1. They actually respected the fact that Batman and Catwoman have different fighting styles and physical capabilities, Selina clearly knows she has nothing in raw strength so her attacks are fast and low aimed at stunning and knocking the opponent off balance, she only resorted to risky moves when her advantage began to slip and made a mistake there, Bruce on the other hand is calmer, more toned and physically stronger but he clearly doesn't want to hurt her, simply restrain her, he's able to read her movements and acts on them unlike her he's had the experience from around the world to help him. 2. The chemistry is absolutely amazing, they really are Batman and Catwoman

This scene has the DNA of a director that knows these characters really well. Cat woman is a master thief who can crack the toughest of safes. Batman is a superior fighter who isn't going to get bested very easily. Batman waits in the shadows completely undetectable watching as Selena cracks the safe. They fight only for her to find out quickly that she is no match. Batman gets what he came for. The scene doesn't drag on, no unnecessary dialogue, cat woman doesn't win one on one, Batman doesn't use excessive force. This scene is perfect just perfect.

This feels straight out of The Long Halloween or something. I think Zoe Kravitz's small size actually works for Catwoman, it makes her seem more quick and nimble and contrasts her fighting style even more with Batman's. She knows she can't compete with him for physical strength, so she tries to run rings around him and knock him off his feet, or the way she deliberately (it seems like) darts her eyes to one direction and then fakes him out by running the other way. Their fight is like a dance around each other. Also I know people had mixed opinions about Battinson's Batsuit from set pics, but it looks great in live-action movement and in proper movie lighting.

I like how this scene conveys how these two are freaks in costumes but are both highly skilled and are both victims of a personal trauma. “People who wear masks are driven by trauma. Ok so first off, this is my fave Catwoman. Practical, prepared, not just some lady in a skintight outfit with just a whip and good acrobatics. She actually has alot of useful and realistic tools to help her steal stuff, that's awesome. Now Batman. The way he drops from the celing so calm and casual while still striking a very intense and intimidating stature is just spot on. Batman can literally walk normal to a criminal and they would probably pee a little😂The way he doesn't want to hurt her and just casually counters her every move, the way she jukes him by making him go one way so she can escape, the way he just grabs the object and walks away like shes not a threat, and also, its funny how she just casually knows that he must be The Batman and just tries to take it back from him with Bats just swatting her hand away like they're both 8 year olds😂 This bit of the scene alone is just phenomenal and its awesome how so many people analyze it too, like someone here said something about they're fighting styles matching the characters, like selina aimimg low to get Bats off balance and Bruce just using his raw strength and experience to counter everything. Battinson and Kratwoman are going to be awesome in this can't wait!!😁💯

When the suit was first revealed back in 2020 when they first started production, I wasn't impressed but when seeing it in motion from the trailers, it just looked amazing and I think it's now one of my favourite bat-suits. Can't wait to see this movie on March 4th 😁

They were smart to go for an agile take on Batman instead of a bulky one, yeah a bulky Batman looks great but realistically he wouldn't be able to do all the stunts he does in the comics and cartoons with all that muscle weighing him down, in fact no superhero could, that's why padded suits are very common. The most agile live action bulky superhero out there was Captain America and even he still felt very slow plenty of times.

I like the music in this scene. It starts out playful, something you'd attribute to most music for Catwoman's attitude during scenes. As soon as Bruce shows up, some more deep tones come in, and slowly start to get louder as it becomes apparent Selina isn't winning

an interesting detail that seemed consistent in the movie was that batman would always react to sound queues before anyone else (including the audience). im not sure if he uses technology to amplify distant noises or something like that, but he was able to react to the intruding cop before catwoman even noticed. adds up in biology given that bats have much better hearing than other mammals, given that bats rely on sound instead of sight to navigate. “mammals” would include cats, which already have exceptional hearing capabilities. he would also have to be using hearing protection, given his exposure to point blank gunshots and explosions, but i guess this can be shrugged off as “wayne tech”. but he also turned around in response to the incoming car before anyone else even heard it in the funeral scene, which might imply that he has conditioned or modified his ears. such a minute detail can run so unnecessarily deep lol.

I love seeing Batman demolish his opponents, but he has a soft spot for women and I think that's okay. Catwoman. Harley Quinn (in the Arkham games). He's gentle on them. Except for the female ninjas in the Arkham games, but they're legit dangerous assassins so they don't get a pass.

I watched the scene in 0.25x speed and noticed that Catwoman purposefully looked to her right to indicate that she was going to go to her right but faked out Bruce which is why she juked him. For those who think that's not very Batman, Bruce probably expected Catwoman to be the usual cat burglar so he probably didn't expect much from her at the start.
