The scene is an obvious Silence of the Lambs tribute, which is nice, great movie. I love Batman, again the scene is fine. And even Reeves’ Batman world is not what I’d call a masterpiece like so many commenters are saying. I think it was a solid first movie. I guess the next one will really show how well his vision works. It’s all just opinion, I don’t mean to sound like I’m declaring the truth from on high.

But this is the Joker deleted scene here. And this is the best scene between these two iconic characters we've ever had in live action. 1 on 1. Stellar... stellar performances. This is what I and apparently 10s of millions also want for the current depiction of the caped crusader and his rouges gallery. The performance turned in here for the Joker was mesmerizing.
