The graveyard scenes were filmed in The eastern necropolis in Glasgow. A truly gothic graveyard next to Glasgow cathedral and my old school Golfhill primary. I was fortunate enough to see some of the film being shot can’t wait to see it in the cinema

Honestly I'd rather it not be as dark as they're always trying with every adaptation, he's not an edgy violent brutalist, he only usually goes for brutality when he's at his most vulnerable, he doesn't snap bones or give people life changing injuries unless he goes too far or is desperate. He can push the limits and be sadistic, but he's usually a lot more calculated than any movie version has shown. Rather than a Dark Batman movie, I want a cerebral Batman movie that shows the effort he puts in to being The Dark Knight and being both a symbol of fear for criminals and an immortal champion of Justice in the face of corruption. No live action Batman has shown the true World's Greatest Detective side of him, it's always about fighting and his struggle with his two lives because they always choose directors who think "blah blah detective work isn't very cinematic I want explosions and violence". Give us the Grey & Blue batsuit or even the light Grey & Black for a change, with the really long ears. If they're gonna take a stab at a slight Long Halloween inspired story with a Year Two Batman at least give us something we haven't seen before suit-wise

I like the intensity pattinson’s Batman fights with - specifically the fury and speed of his striking, more than the technical movements of bale, which I think was a specific design decision they made (but I think largely a symptom of the practical realities of moving in a bat-suit). I’m thinking specifically of the scene in the dark knight where he get Lau back from Hong Kong. It’s suits the rage of the character more, and on reflection, I wasn’t a fan of how Nolan shot the fight scenes (not that they were terrible). Batman begins for instance, he shot them so that you couldn’t really see what was going on, to enhance the idea of the speed a fury that he takes ppl down with, but really you just couldn’t see anything lol. Look, I loved the Nolan movies, don’t get me wrong, but they had some flaws. Still some of my favourite movies though!

The fight in Nolan trilogy is by far the weakest point and it all started with choosing that Keisy fighting system to be batman fighting style, that system is pure bullshido its neither 1- an eficient fighting system 2- looks good on camera like an expert multiple martial arts master, they should use a mix of styles like Karate, Judo, kickboxin, Jiu Jitsu something like Donnie Yen and the guys onJhon Wick does

I love seeing a younger Batman that is still getting a grip on controlling himself and staying in control. There has always been that line he can't let himself cross, but I wonder if we are going to see him "stare into the abyss" as they say. It makes me think about "Under the Red Hood" or "Crises on Two Earths" and if that concept is really fleshed out in this movie I will be happy. Anyone know which comics cover this too?

Matt Reeves made a MOVIE with this one. It was good from open to close. Acting, writing, story, cinematography, everything. It was a GOOD film. What's-his-nuts (GoTG guy) is only hurting himself & DC if he takes this film out of cannon and goes in a "new direction".

Looks amazing - I mean the first trailer hit a lot harder but this still looks great. It would have been more effective to not rely on the “I’m Vengeance” line again and Something in The Way. But all round a solid trailer :)
