In my life, yes, I'm older, I have noticed how for many years now it became normal for a large portion of the population to overrule a personal gut feeling of discomfort with some kind of justification of how ridiculous our feelings and thinking were. Experience over many, many years now has taught me to now always trust my gut and to never discount that feeling or the value of my own thoughts.

@@AdminAbuse idk.... I'd agree it's a possibility, but he doesn't seem like the type to do things JUST for "business" reasons. He barely mentions subscribing or signing up for notifications, etc., so I've always had the feeling that the I love you statement at the end is more about affirmation, an effort to sort of just let everyone listening that they are worthy and important. Obviously Mike doesn't "love" his viewers the way he loves his family or friends, but it's not unreasonable to think he loves his viewers in the same way we're meant to love each other, see each other as brothers and sisters, etc. Corny maybe, sure, lol. But given the very heavy and often dark subject matter of his videos, I've always assumed he declares his love at the end to just throw it out there that "Hey, if you're struggling in any way don't give in or give up, remember you matter and there are people that care about you, specifically, I care about you." I can definitely be wrong and I think there are plenty of people who would just say they love their viewers in order to keep and increase viewers, but yeah idk I've always felt like it was more of a "brother's keeper" type of love because of the sad things covered in his videos. I might be naive lol. But idk, I know I personally feel a sense of love for people in general, I like to think I'd take a bullet for anyone, etc. so I don't find it hard to believe Mike is saying it in that way rather than it just being a strategy. Just my thought!

Like, I get wanting extra emotional security but it's better for people to be a whole person on their own, which takes time. That gap between 18-25 is really crucial and alot can happen. Yup! No , there is not always a reason. You might be completely mis-reading the situation. However, if you are easily spooked, you live longer, on average. At some point in our past, those of us who ran from every perceived threat passed on more genes more frequently than those who did not have that response. That’s what a “gut feeling” is. That said, evaluating a reason to be wary is a pretty good idea, also.

The way the main lady (Dorothy Maraglino) manipulated the servant (Jessica) and others shows signs of this would not have been the only person (Brittany Killgore) they would have killed. Dorothy shows signs of a serial killer, her profile would be interesting to research. I myself have had a few incidents in my teens and 20s where men have tried to lure me away....I didn't know as much as I do now in my 60s, but I listened to my instincts to tell myself to get away. So Louis, in court, is just going to deny the fact that they have video of him beating that woman (before Britney) into unconsciousness, and her asking him to stop? Criminals all want to deny it seems, and the final, last-ditch effort is to say “police planted evidence” or “police are framing me because of a bigger plot,” or some shit. Girl pleaseeeee Then, when he said like “…to those who know me, they will know; I’ve never raised my fist at another soul.” Not WOMAN, but another SOUL. That’s avoidance of the subject at hand, to me at least, and slightly telling… not saying he’s the lone perpetrator at all, just saying. He couldn’t bring himself to say he’s never hit a woman, because the proof was in the home video. And I hope the jury and court got to see that video, unfortunately…

I agree with what u said except that MANY fantasies are totally fine to bring to reality and they harm nobody ... For example and pardon my bluntness but let's say my husband and I both have a fantasy of role playing doctor and patient or w/e ... if we both consent then I don't see any harm in that If someone's fantasy is to dress up as a horse and be spanked by a member of the same sex as long as all parties consent again I see no harm ... Some fantasies are a lil more riskè like bdsm for example... or the "slave" & "master" relationship... ill get banned if I go into an example with THAT haha but ultimately again as long as everyone is in agreement to the acts being done to them then there's no harm being done I think what you meant to say was that fantasies that some may have which involve hurting someone else holding someone else against their will or not respecting them if they say "stop" are not meant to ever come to fruition... I mean no disrespect however realistically not every fantasy is meant to be just played out in our minds 🤷‍♀️

You are "acting" out your fantasy and I am only assuming here but I'm going to say that he probably isn't your actual doctor and it's not taking place on a hospital bed somewhere. Remember that actual (well not really) doctor for a female gymnast team that had them "consent" for a "medical procedure" ? I think that's what he meant. I don't think anyone was trying to kink shame, just pointing out that most of us know where that appropriate line between acting out a fantasy and the reality of it is. It's not the consenting bdsm between a married couple that got them on this channel.

What kind of mess is this-meeting your spouse at a church, marrying at 18,moving across the US,then deploying to Afghanistan and divorcing?!🤪

It’s a typical young Marine story. They get better housing and more money if they’re married so it’s very typical for young Marines to quickly marry the girl back home and just as quickly divorce because they never should have married.

Thank you for covering this one Mike. I grew up with Cory, we were “neighbors” in rural Missouri. Cory joined the USMC because of my parents- both former Marines. We had fallen out of touch with him but were shocked to see this story hit the news. I hope Brittany’s family is at peace.

Women, especially young women, we were given a gift of women's intuition. it is real and usually very reliable. Do not ignore it as young Brittany did. Such a sad tale. I am so sorry for her.

It's not a gift, it's not magic qnd it's not limited to women. Women are suspicious because we noticed since birth what a dangerous place the world can be

Girls are raised to ignore it though, and keep being super-sweet. With all this video evidence of true horror in everyday lives, that's probably changed. That will be a great thing if so.

Your videos are great. You put it all together in a short video that has a lot of detail. Your humor just adds to it. It is really like watching a A&E story, but better. Keep up the great work.

Brittany said she had a bad feeling about Luis, yet she went anyway. It really sucks when we don't follow our intuition. In her case, it sadly cost her her life. To think that she was possibly a birthday gift for that sick woman makes me want to throw up. What a tragedy. She was so incredibly young. 💔😥💔

I was a young military wife years ago and I can remember feeling desperate to make friends and feeling very alone when my husband deployed. She probably felt desperate needing someone to help her pack and move things and typically other soldiers would help but not in the case of divorce. When I divorced my ex the military refused to help me with anything. ANYTHING! I had 4 small children and a lot to pack and no one would help me because I was no longer the military wife or family. So I can only imagine how she felt. It’s really sad.
