Astral projection is the ability to leap out of your body and travel around like a ghost or psychic entity. If you know the X-Men like Professor X or Jean Grey, they astral project all the time in the comics. Their minds psychically leave their bodies and they can travel virtually anywhere. Same basic thing with vampires. in Vampire: The Masquerade (tabletop RPG) there are many vampires that can astral project, allowing them to go practically anywhere in the world to spy on people.

Hmm... perhaps this vampirazation process could also increase the efficiency of cells in the body, but this usually wouldn't be enough to explain the level of strength and speed exhibited by these creatures. The digestive system would have to be extremely efficient, maybe even using nuclear reactions and not just chemical. Maybe the bite of a vampire releases a hormone that causes the victim to start dumping nutrients into their bloodstream. Maybe they actually derive sustenance from some other, unknown energy source and blood is merely necessary for processing it or some other bodily function. Their ability to recover from otherwise fatal wounds has a number of solutions, personally I prefer stem cells.

Come on, does that mean popular culture thinks a romantic evening is a cuddle on the couch with Leatherface? Vampires are monsters! Not handsome, suave or debonair. If you could see there true visage, you would agree that they don't cut it as sex symbols.

I like your video, it's very entertaining and thought out! I think that you're stuck in the idea of a living being when speaking of vampirism, instead of a creature where all metabolic functions have ceased (such as aging). I would think that the need for living blood is akin to an oil change in a car, just as the vampire no longer eats food or drinks water, they cannot manufacture new blood cells on their own, and although they themselves cannot age their blood can deteriorate and lose it's ability to circulate around the body. Dead, maybe, but their brains still need a healthy supply of oxygen to function at it's highest capacity. Otherwise they would turn into a slobbering mindless ghoul. Healthy blood from healthy donors makes healthy vampires. Just a thought.

I like to thing vampires as very powerful creatures like in hellsing and castlevania or even dnd. I thing about them as the kings of monsters. I might like them but honestly I don't believe that they exist I am not the type of person that believes on cryptids and stuff I like them but deep in my hurt don't believe them and even if they exist they will be probably very different than I expect them to be:-). many moons ago an ex told me he was talking online to some woman claiming to be a psionic vampire that allegedly could send her essence or whatever (accross the internet) to rob someone of their energy and behave as if working some voodoo or like a poltergueist or some damned thing. Considering he and his mother don't like to take their meds like they're suppose to, and the words that come to mind regarding him are Fetal Narcotic Syndome, I take anything from them with a pound of salt (as a grain of salt would never do). I just wanted to let people know that while some of these things might be (minutely) possible, they are not very likely. moral of the story: beware of exes dallying with spells and spirits

We higher ranking vampires or those of us born with High Born blood lack the weakness to sunlight. As said we do not need to comsume blood. I myself despise the taste of it. However I am attracted to blood colored liquids and drinks. We have been walking amongst you for centuries. @Trey Stephens Just as there different types of werewolves there two distinct types of vampires. Those of us who are descended from adam and eve and those descend from cain. Cain being the first dark vampire. Those of us decended from Adam of eve have retained our human like complexation but have the abilities that all vampires have except we don't thirst for blood and we lack the avertion to sunlight. Those decended from cain are of the darker variety and have that pale complexion you mentioned. They have the same powers. But they have a thirst for blood and have an advrersion to sunlight.
