Delighted to see that the collection has finally landed and it looks pretty flippin savage all laid out there together. I'm approaching a pretty big day myself soon. I've been paying off a set of Beatle autographs from the royal variety show with Tracks for the last 2 years and I'm finally approaching the last few payments. I'll crack open a bottle if something nice to toast the four lads when they finally arrive. Good to see you regularly again Stripes.

Hi mate. Really great to see you enjoying the complete collection. It was like you said a heavy burden to get it complete. But that will be soon forgotten. I would like to point out to you The Analogues. It is a Dutch band. They covered Sgt. Pepper,The Magical Mystery Tour and The Whire Album. They collected all instruments, exactly like they were used on The Beatles' albums. Give it a listen. They can be found on Spotify and on KZbin. And then listen to the instruments. How exactly they play them, just like The Beatles did. Their singing voices are different of course. Last Beatlesweek in August in Liverpool, they played The White Album completely, including Revolution 9. The crowd gave them a standing ovation. On KZbin there are some great videos of them performing those 3 albums. I highly recommend them. Give it a listen and let me know what you think about it. Cheers mate.

Sorry. In Liverpool The Analogues did not play Revolution 9 live at The Philharmonic Hall. It is on their album, but that song is a studio recording, due to too many tape loops and so. Search on KZbin on The Analogues trailer Oct 17. From there on you will find a lot of clips.

BTW the Deluxe White Album set with book looks great.Have you heard about Paul revisiting the "Let it be movie" however he seems on re editing and releasing it as a completely new movie i.e removing all unhappy moments & arguments in original. Hell we've been waiting eons for this movie to be officially released eh?

It has been suggested that it's Olivia Harrison and Yoko Ono who have vetoed the release of the original movie. I think Paul would be happy to have that version released. It was Paul who intimated that a re-edit is under consideration, but he certainly didn't give the impression that it was his idea. But I suppose some people will inevitably say, "Well *he* wouldn't, would he?"
