I disagree with your evaluation of Kill Tony. The whole show is roasting people who are doing bad stand up comedy. Of course it relies on the people in the audience. That's the whole point of the show! It doesn't mean it's bad as a show. Comedians have good nights and bad nights, and that's usually a result of the audience reaction. Tony is funny, which is actually rare for a Joe Rogan-sphere comic. The problem with Tony now is that he thinks he's a god. His ego is destroying his reputation. Not the fact that he's bad at stand up, which he really isn't. David Lucas is a perfect example of a hyped up comedian that isn't good at comedy, not Tony, although ironically Joe AND Tony are the ones hyping him up.

Joe lowered the bar selling out, then purchased that same bar so he could be the final boss of mid tier while the culture he dumbed down eat it up... I don’t think this was some Machiavellian plan, it just happened that way, but it's definitely a cultural phenomenon to behold.
