Hello Tim from Canada just one thing you have to remember when you were buying Milwaukee every country has Milwaukee mostly but the codes may vary in every country for me the codes in USA and Canada are the same because I live in Canada now looking at your gun it looks like the same one I’m looking at but the code is different same gun... different code so you just have to remember when you’re by and Milwaukee figure out what the codes are in your country this is the one I’m looking at to buy soon in Canada they start at 379 Canadian and go to the one I really want is around $1000 that is the 1 inch that is the Mack daddy of all of them... if you can get a hold of Milwaukee one inch fuel high torque that is the one that is the king of Milwaukee... popping through shows .. saw yours on Milwaukee so far I like it thank you TIM from Canada

Great review and amazing device indeed, but be aware, that, even though, brushless motors don't wear out, they use rare earth magnets that don't like heat at all, so don't let it overheat, since after any excessive heat applied to them, those magnets might lose their magnetic force. And even though it has some sort of overheat protection it might protect internal PCB's and their components or battery, but not necessarily protect motor itself. Since I've seen a lot of complaints on brushless tools stop working after overheating by users who don't know that they don't tolerate heat as good as brushed motors do.

I don't regret trusting you last time, so I'll give it another go. Thanks a bundle for these gems! 😊👍 PS: what torque would you use for after tightening wheelnuts on a lorry? I always used hand force so never worried about that before...
@aaanton115 жыл бұрын

@@aaanton11 Now here is my problem; one key cannot set a torque, only an RPM setting and a "presicion mode 1-20". No torque specified whatsoever! I contacted no.milwaukeetool.eu today and havn't got a reply yet as to what to set it to get the torque wanted. Been googling like mad and there is no chart to guide me. There is a "wheelnut setting" that gives me the choice between cars and pickup trucks, but no real truck setting. I think the gun is great, but the customer service is utter crap not even giving a same day reply....
@jharealexander4 жыл бұрын
@@kundetjenesten hi there, have you get your chart? ..I am trying to get one
@kundetjenesten4 жыл бұрын
@@jharealexander Now this is terribly embarressing, but I must have had a complete brain freeze for several days after buying this product. To put it shortly: there is no chart, because it can't be. You get quite large differences in torque depending on what socket you use. The basic equation is power = torque x speed. Milwaukee chose to increase both RPMs and torque simultaneously, to do that, the power must increase in an exponential-like manner. Meaning that at the high end of your settings, especially on a high-torque model, you can get dangerously large differences between a long, thin-walled socket and a short heavy socket. Add to that the producers standard deviations and it gets even worse. I found that mine, and most others tools are very reproducible, so I assume the deviation they claim is one between different tools. Thus a chart could cause legal liability for a producer. That said, without taking any responsibility for the use of it, I found 1400 RPM with a short heavy socket in 33mm gave me roughly 650-700Nm on my tool. I don't know if this helps you in your application but it is a place to start at least. Just keep in mind that the incremental increase in RPMs cause much much bigger difference in the high spectrum.
