The Best 2x4 Bedframe?

I've had the idea for this design for a long time and finally got around to making it. The design is incredibly simple and I love the way it turned out. Although there were a ton of steps in making this particular design, I really like the concept and could make a similar version in the future with some sort of pre-made beam instead of having to glue mine completely from scratch, as this was the majority of the work. Or maybe with butcher block. I don't know. That being said, this is not intended to be a how-to video, as I by no means think this is the best possible design. I'm hoping to inspire others to build on the idea!

it felt like I was there cutting hauling and sanding with you. and I am the type of person to walk the mile and a half in the snow and back carrying the lumber haul.
