Thank you for calling out the BS about people saying the MCU is military propaganda, I never agreed with that argument. I don't know how anyone can say that after the villains of all the Iron Man movies are involved with the military/government, and Winter Soldier and Civil War are like the opposite of military propaganda, lol. The only movie you could say this about is The First Avenger and I think we can give that a pass since it was WWII.

to feature anything military related in an american film, it needs to be supervised by the military, who also get final say on the scenes they’re featured in. so basically most of it is propaganda to make them look cool and heroic.

You gotta understand the relationship between the federal government, national governments, and the military. Captain America’s movies advocate for better soldiers than legislation, which works in favor of the military because rules don’t make for good war. Iron Man was a “self made billionaire” that purified a war manufacturer and handed him a suit of people’s dreams; if anything is to be taken by Iron Man is that it’s millionaire propaganda, where’s the rich are exceptional and deserve the power they have. All throughout the movies the Avengers are bypassing governments and using cities as playpens. It’s why the Olympus has fallen trilogy is military propaganda, constantly the good guys are breaking national and international law, but they’re heroes because they win in the end anyways

In civil war: Cap didn't really explain to Tony in the film what was going on so from Tonys perspective it just looks like cap is breaking the law. in the end it showed how not communicating what's going on can destroy friendships.

I personally really liked BvS Ultimate Edition. I also like how if you pay attention to Bruce’s and Alfred’s talks, or Bruce’s speech at the end, you get to see his arc with killing, and how he was morally broken in the beginning of the film, but learns his lesson again, and relearns why he shouldn’t kill or become blinded by rage. But it can be a bit boring.

One of my biggest pet peeves with BOP is that they had to use Harley as a draw to make people watch the movie even though she wasn’t part of the team in any capacity in the comics. Not only that but they also erased Barbara from the movie, despite being one of the founders and the de facto leader of the group, and what they did to Cassandra is possibly the worst live-action adaptation of a comic book character since Deadpool from X-Men: Origins.

I think Henry Cavill is a great Superman when he's given a good script. Man of Steel is okay, but i just really dont like the direction that Zack Snyder took for him in BvS. It also doesnt help that Whedon tried to fix him, and then Snyder completely shitted on the work he did to try and help his depiction of the character. Like, i enjoy the added world building in the Snyder Cut, but everything else is just the Whedon cut but either slowed down or worse in a lot of instances. There's very few points in the Snyder Cut that are objectively better than the original film. Its either just as bad or worse in most cases. But we know that Cavill could do the character justice if he just had a good script. He's perfectly able to encapsulate other characters like Geralt in Netflix's "The Witcher", so its not like he's a shit actor. Also, from what i've seen, die hard Deadpool fans tend to take issue with how much they streamlined the character in those films (which the game was kind of guilty of doing first since THAT'S the version of Deadpool that actually blew up in the mainstream, and the Deadpool game is basically just "lol random internet humor: the game").

Power Rangers 2017 is underrated imo. Not bad, but sadly forgettable thanks to there being no sequels to build the world and characters further. Over half the film was the setup, with only the very final portion having any substantial action.

The Green Hornet. Trust me, even hardcore fans of the Green Hornet (three of them) want to forget about that movie. 2.- Kind of sad that Hulk hasn't had very good live actions adaptations. The 2003 movie is a really dry movie, the 2008 I don't like the Hulk design at all! The Hulk from the first avengers movie is really freaking cool. And controversial opinion (sarcasm) I don't like at all how they managed Hulk's character in the MCU, how surprising. Although, to me I prefer Lou Ferrigno's Hulk.

Welker wasn't in the first three though, that was Hugo Weaving, who actually did a great job, despite not trying very hard and hating his time with those films. Welker showed up as Galvatron in AoE, and then he finally was Megatron in TLK. Though his performances in the movies are not really his best. Transformers Prime is peak Welker's Megatron.

I think you don't like "Kick-Ass" because of its mean-spiritedness. The main protagonist is kind of a selfish kid in a mean-spirited world (which is saying a lot, considering the movie version of Kick-Ass is nicer than his comic original) and the climax is a very standard action flick. It tried to have an emotionally gripping climax but failed because we don't really know or care about Big Daddy.
