👏👏👏👏👏brilliant piece of story telling oz! I know it was a while ago now but congratulations on your capture and your persistence in your quest. I fished Barnet’s lakes as a kid on a day ticket for the tench and remember old mrs Barnet coming around and collecting the money for the ticket. I also remember having the chance to fish burghfield from the road that took you down to the ski club and John moulds yard was behind me at the time it was being run by the old leisure sports angling club. Little did I know what an iconic piece of water burghfield would become! And I think unfortunately the old barnets lake I used to fish all them years back has now been filled in and is being used as a car park for mouldy’s yard.once again congratulations and I’m looking forward to more stories about your recent captures.
