I got one in black and one in pink/white. They're really great travel controllers to throw in a bag, but i recommend getting some thumb grips! The controller is smaller than it looks and the grips make the sticks feel less tiny. They fit grips make for joycons

There’s a newer version of the cat controller with a switch wake-up and headphone jack functionality. the d-pad is kinda meh tho, especially if u prefer to slide your thumb across the d-pad. not great for d-pad heavy games. It’s usable for how cheap it is and very cute.

I have the same kitten controller, and i love it for my small hands! As an adult with small hands the regular pro controller was a bit too big and uncomfortable that i gave it away to a friend after i bought the kitten controller. That company that makes the kitten controller does make a full sized regular looking controller as well if you’re not into the kitten look of it.

I personally recommend the Power A GameCube Controllers if you like the layout, they’re officially licensed by Nintendo. Feel just like the OEM versions, have all necessary buttons needed to play switch games like the clickable sticks, four triggers and GYRO controls. They also have awesome battery life. Regularly go for $25. Only downside is really the lack of rumble.

What I learned from this video... is not to get any third party controllers. Even your slightest criticisms told me to stay the hell away. I just don't wanna risk it. 30 bucks for a cheap controller is 30 bucks that could have gone to a proper controller. Anywho great coverage!! I'd actually be interested in a part two. ^^

Personally I do not like the official PowerA controllers. Very light and the quality feels very cheap. The ONLY advantage it has is that it can wake the Switch. The back extra buttons haven't been useful for me. SN30 PRO+ for sure.

I have the cat controller and the black one. Both are pretty good. The cat controller was a little wonky to sync and once had an interference with the inputs sending beeping sound out the audio. But it only happened the second time we used it and I couldn't repeat the issue. The black one is pretty much a copy of the pro controller and my sticks felt tight.

The first controller, I purchased one and I don't have a button stickyness issue, and I play Monster Hunter (a game were button spamming and specific inputs are needed), I will say that the Bumpers aren't the best, they don't hold down that good but I'd give the controller a solid 4.5/5

Just watched your video, i have the cat controller and wanted to see what you thought about it. Wanted to point out one thing, at least for mine, it does actually wake up the Switch, but only the Home button works for that function. Just wanted to let you know cuz i noticed any other button press doesnt wake it up, only the Home button. Love the video thought!

The wake up function only works for certain models, the pink one doesn't work. But i think the purple one and the peach one can wake up the switch.

I am one of those adults who have super small hands, so when I saw one of these cat ear controllers I had to buy one. Been using one for about half a year now and I LOVE it. What surprised me was that you said it didn't wake up the switch. Mine does that just fine.

I actually have a pro controller I got for about $15 CAD on amazon. It was cheap, had side grips and was very functional. I got it about 5 - 6 months ago by now, and my siblings keep dropping it down the stairs, yet it works fine. No drift, nothing. It exceeded my expectations for a $15 controller, for sure!

Yeah and I got that first Controller, I don't have the sticky buttons issue, I will say the Bumpers don't hold down well but it's not gonna get me killed (if I can fight a Grimclaw Tigrex with this Controller easily it's not a bad controller)

Got my YCCTeam controller and I think it's excellent. The sticks aren't calibrated as nicely as the official pro controller but for £20 I think it's excellent

As a small handed female I gotta say I'm relieved to find smaller controller from the market, cos the normal pro controller was way too big when tried it from a friend. AND that's damn cute for a cat person! So perhaps I should give it a go, specially with that price, cos my orig joy cons have "finally" started drifting ocationally by themselves... :'D

If you guys want to spend 10 dollars more then I recommend the the Nintendo switch after glow deluxe controller it is really good the stick are made of hard plastic so know that before you get it incase you don’t like plastic thumbsticks and the buttons are decent and it has back paddles and this might throw you off but the controller is see through and has lights inside of it I think it’s cool and good for night gaming but I don’t know you decide

I'm an adult with small hands. 😁 I'm interested in the cartoon kitten controller but is it the same size as the joy con controller you get with the original switch? That one is handy, but even as an adult with small hands it makes my fingers cramp some, because there's not a lot of room to put them. Also, I accidentally press buttons a lot. I wanted something slightly bigger.

I highly recommend you guys spend 10 more dollars for a Power A enhanced wireless. The cheapest you can find brand new is like $35 and they are literally a pro controller except no rumble and nfc and that's it. They have really good motion, use double a battery, don't feel that cheap and have cool designs. I've been using mine for smash, mario kart, and fortnite and it works very good I'm glad I bought it Edit: I just realized this sounds like an ad

There are few generation of the same controller. As i know, the cat controller and tom nook controller latest one is 4th generation. Each gen they add new function. The 1st gen dont have wake up or even gyro. It all look the same but price differenty. At least from my location. 4th gen is the most complete invluding supporr for NFC and voice detection with bigger battery. Wake up is supported since 3rd gen.

Huh. I have the Nook color of the cat controller, and mine wakes up my Switch. I actually got it for free! I took a chance on one of those Facebook ads saying you could get free products. They just wanted me to order it from Amazon, so I figured if they company didn’t refund me, I could return it to Amazon and get my money back. But they did refund me! And I was surprised at how nice the controller was, so I didn’t feel bad about being told to leave five star review - I would’ve done that anyway!

I have the Beboncool pro controller and I like it, but I wouldn't buy it again. Everything about it is good, but when I play Skyrim, I like to have the right stick press disabled and moved to the image capture button. When you do that with the Switch's mapping, you get asked if you want to reset the mapping every time you turn on the switch and connect you controller. I'd spend the extra $20 next time and buy the 8-BitDo SN30+. You can remap the buttons on the controller there, so the Switch doesn't know anything is up, and doesn't ask every time.

For a good controller get the Power a if Wireless controller 35ish with 🔋 required. Cheap, battery will die quicker. Eh to rumble or use your joycons if you want cheap. Whatever ones wants.
