Hi guys 🙋🏼‍♀️💙 Glad to see the Landy’s gone to a new loving home. New adventures. I don’t understand where the stigma of land rover drivers came from, we always had land rovers growing up, short wheel base, long wheel base, blue ones, a cream one (my favourite) however, we were neither scruffy, posh or farmers, my dad just loved land rovers & he loved me ‘helping’ him with the mechanical things, fond memories of assisting with a gear box change when I was around 9yrs old💪🏼 We were just your average family, my dad always worked for British Aerospace & loved driving land rovers 🤷🏼‍♀️ Anyhoo, back to big red🚒 I love the green cabinets, the colours are going look gorgeous once it’s all put together. I can’t really comment on Jon’s attempt at ‘OF’ again, but the calendar is still definitely on the table 📅 thank the lord for Mr chilli pepper though🌶️ 🍆🫣 That experience could have been a lot more traumatising, thankyou for saving us from it Jess🤩 Have a good week guys. The bed has the opening hatch where I think you said there was a stove, was that right? So this is really just the largest Teasmaid ever built really then. Poor Jess...I hope that when Jon normally gets naked that he takes off his socks and safety glasses! Tut, tut, tut.... (I jest of course!! Well...perhaps not about keeping your socks on!) P.S.: The interior is looking very good and the pull out bed a brilliantly executed design. Jon you'll need the Kreg Plug cutter and the Drawer jig, just to add to the Kreg system of tools. The former stops you having to buy their plugs or sticking in loads of filler and you can match material too. Lovely bit of kit for your Workshop. Liking the Festool Tape measure. Might have to get me one. Their is another type of Tape measure that you may really like, it has a pull out bit on the back for getting accurate measurements of corner to corner, rather than having the bend the tape into the corner and taking an educated guess at the distance. Big Red is coming along nicely. Just hope it survives Jon's bits and bobs without to much trauma and blushes. Wagner overspray is terrible, which is way I have never used it to paint walls in the house. the masking off would take longer than the painting.

Jess, what type of paint do you use? It looks like regular emulsion but surely this wouldn't be durable enough (unless lacquered over). We used water based eggshell in our van but I'm not sure this would work in a spray gun 🫤

Yep that’s it just normal b and q tough and durable paint, works perfect and scrubs up well 😊
