Nice video. I think Foodle is fairly recent, didn’t even realise you could eat there. The second floor has another food court which is also worth a look. Can remember there was a bit of hype when Local Hero Singapore opened - basically a selection of some great hawker dishes that received Michelin bib gourmand awards.

I frequent The Glen pretty often but never considered that whole downstairs area asafood court, usually go to the main one upstairs. Always just thought it was groceries, but will definately be going deeper inside them and doscovering the foods. Foodle i think is new but excited to go there next time, my mum told me about a food court inside the new shop so this must be the one! Think i might just go to the Glen tomorrow now!! Haha

Great! I grew up in Glen Waverley in 70s my mother was literally the only Chinese person in the town for a long time... The only Chinese restaurant was awful (jade kingdom from memory) now look how awesome it is. My first job was at Safeway which I'm sure no longer there. ...

The drink/dessert you had in a sealed cup , in Singapore is actually called: cheng tng. It is served fresh in a bowl(with a Chinese spoon) with shaved iced if you want it cold OR warm.

I don’t eat in “food courts”, l eat in Restaurants, and seperate eateries. Much too noisy, and hustle bustle in Food Courts, and seldom delicious - just average food for youngsters, students etc. who know not much about food preparation. I know many Asian students here from Japan, Korea, China, they all eating lots of fast food, and everything is okay for them. I don’t mean expensive art restaurants, just cooking simple, fresh, and authentic. I know The Glen, and you passed my favourite Chinese Restaurant outside the Glen’s entrance, where l love the food. In Glen Weverly, Stephenson Rd shopping area is the Thai THE MANGO TREE, it is a delicious inexpensive Restaurant. But respect your vid, and your cheerful, excited personality. Enjoy. We all have different tastes, and preferences. Thank you. ❤🕊

Unfortunately, as nice as this all looks, it's extremely expensive. Glen Waverley has become a very upmarket area and a lot of these cool offerings are priced out of the reach of normal people. It's only as fun as this guy makes it look for the wealthy families living in one of the identically-sterile faux-french cubes across the suburb.

Its sad to often see most food vlogs about Melbourne focusing only on the asian cuisine options. Not only is this short sighted but narrow minded also. Melbourne has always been lnown for its European feel and roots. Yet, we are presented with only Asian options disregarding all the other amazing options Melbourne is known for. You go into the Melbourne CBD now and it feels and looks like an Asian city, Melbourne has lost its true self sadly. However there are some great European food options available, unfortunately most vloggers cant see it. This vlog shows nothing about the true food culture in Melbourne, yet another lame vlog.
