I have been following megabots for a while now (a year before the Japan fight), and I must say, what you guys have been doing is incredible. Yeah, it's not as mobile as they are in the sci-fi movies, but it's definitely a start, and a good one too. Megabots are the pioneers of giant robot fighting.

I said this years ago, i was so ready for giant robot battles. I have been subbed for about the same time as you. However, they or rather he is not the pioneer of giant robots. He is a joke with a giant metal monstrosity. I have thought this since i saw his ultra cringe dr zorkerberg episode. This montage of when they had a dream and a good idea is a testament to how far they have fallen. Its like watching a washed up ex pro athlete going over the footage of his good ol days. Thats all it is now, the good old days. Maybe boston dynamics can make it happen, but not this guy.

Yes impractical it's highly easy to take down with it's high center of mass and it's slow speed it's also so heavy that the fuel economy for that must be sky high for transporting 2 crew if it was my spelling you commented about it's now fixed

Lingontuva it isn’t too heavy - most the weight is actually in the tracks. It also has auto balancing algorithms

@@Henners yeah well if you lift the top/head/cockpit it will automatically put the mass higher up end then making it less stable but you need to raise it other wise it's just more useless

Need to build smaller robots that are cheap to build and possibly go back together easily. Then have the big one rip the little ones to pieces while they attack! Also let the audience control the little ones for extra money!

Make a robot that actually does heavy work (so the human operator is just piloting shit). There are cities that could use multi-purpose construction "bots" that are tracked or legged.

Now... since the army doesn't plan to use it any time soon... Would it be possible for Eagle 1 to organize a fight with the 1958-62 Beetle mobile manipulator? Since this venerable ancestor to all Mecha is also able to break concrete walls, I think it could be a good match. And its cockpit being heavily protected by lead armor would probably offer possibility otherwise too dangerous to show?

They were filmed with a flat color space so that we'd have more options for color correction in post-production. Would rather spend more time making more videos than paying expensive editors to color correct!

Have you try to contact any investor both in manhattan or in sillicon valley? Or perhaps you should make a project proposal for man-mecha for space activity to nasa. I mean this can have many potential for military up to mining industry.

Its far too big and slow for military. Military seems more focussed on exoskeleton suits, like the sarcos. As for mining, there are already gigantic machines designed for singular purposes and do them extremely well. The largest mining machine in the world can move like 100 tons of coal an hour or something extreme like that, its in germany. This bot has zero application for any other industry really.
