Some years ago I watched you in Bert's basement when he said you were going to be a champion. I thought then and still do, that he was a wonderful teacher. And you are also, your patience and detail is much appreciated. Thanks.

Tough drill, but becoming my favorite. Just started last week after months of doing The Skillful Square, Up and Down Drill, Yo-Yo Drill and Terrific Three. Got through the first set okay. Pattern 4, with the two ball on the short rail opposite the one, was particularly tough. Really makes you work to get around the table, concentrate on angles and deliver a consistent stroke. Since I have watched this video a lot, another $10 for The Teacher.

I still have the original on VHS. I don’t know if I even have a VCR anymore, but can’t throw it out. The six-pointed star was the first drill that helped me start the journey to become a better player. Still my go to when I’m feeling a bit out of line or have a big match coming up. Love the content, Thanks Niels. 👍

Hi Neils, I got Bert's videos and they were the best. I remember the six, nine and 15 ball pointed star patterns - the 2 ladder drills - and the short/middle/long game drills. They were all tough. Bert was a character and I really enjoyed watching you and Bert on a lot of the videos. Thank you.

Niels, I love the value you see in building block drills. As a coach (VB) designing and tweaking drills was a most creative joy. Even watching this I thought about adding the 7 and 8 on the spots to provide for two open table shots. Of course that won't happen because I am still on the basics. 😁

As always, thanks for another great video Niels, hope the day finds you great. Gotta get ready for US amateur championship qualifier in Sept,

Great drill. Do you aim at the object ball fuller or thinner when shooting with spin at a ball thats close to the rail to adjust for deflection, especially on shots that the cue ball has to go 3 rails after for position?

Great drill 👌 very tough for sure. I love how it incorporates many of your other drills into one. You're definitely right about how hard it is to do this drill without learning the other 4 first. Thank you for all your videos and the information you put out. You explain things very well and make it easy to understand. 😊 these videos have definitely helped me bring my game up a few notches 👍

.... in many of those shots the cue ball is flirting with the pockets. You can be confident when you are playing on a table that you know very well, but when the conditions are not ideal that cue ball is going to scratch ....
