My personal favorite of 2019 is the Leatherman Free T4. It's so versatile, that it's made carrying anything else feel wrong. I carry it everywhere I go and it is by far my favorite knife to come out in 2019

My EDC 2019 winner 🏆 is Cold Steel CODE 4. I bought a Kershaw $13 all steel knife and I learned that I like all metal handles. So I had to get a code 4, And the knife did not disappoint. My fixed blade winner is the Cold steel Recon 1. A perfect fixed blade knife. It will also do a good job fighting zombies in the evil ninjas.

definitely became a knife nut in just the past 6 months. in like a three week period got a Manix 2, the mini grip (and slapped on some AWT black aluminum scales) the launch 3, and just got my Boker Plus Kansei in copper in the mail today!

The Benchmade Casbah is soooooo good. And it gets no love at all. It's my dedicated work knife and it takes a huge beating and just comes back for more. Polyurethane pipes and serious adhesives,oils,chemicals,hard plastics and fibers,etc. It literally takes all of that and more,the handle hasn't melted or worn,the S35 blade stays really sharp no matter how much use it gets and best of all,its an auto. Most underrated automatic for under 200$,I really hope we get more options for it this year like carbon fiber scales or even S90 blade steel. Such a good knife,I have a 940-1 and it barely gets used due to how good the Casbah is.

I used to always buy from Blade HQ till about 3 months ago. I bought a G10 griptilian waited almost two weeks with no knife. I emailed them and they said my address came up as fraudulent. Been living at the same house since 1991. Also bought from them for about 5 years prior multiple times. Had to start buying from other companies.

I ordered the boker strike, tanto version when it went on sale a few weeks ago and love it. I've only had to tighten the pivot cause I noticed a little wiggle in the blade after opening it several times. Other than that it's been fantastic

I would like to share a funny story about onenof my 2019 purchases, so I was in the hospital here in Oregon having surgery, and a couple hours post op i decided to order a knife, well apparently i was still very doped up because im not a fan of serrations or tantos and what did i order?? A serrated tanto boker strike.. in the end i can live with the tanto as its functional, i just dont like the look. I still dont like the serrated blade but will keep it as there is a funny story behind it.

Between the AK and the strike IMHO the strike is a much better feeling knife in the hand. I'm with ya on the tanto and saw blade. Personally I could live with the tanto but I'd send it back based on the saw alone.

My favorite purchase if the year is my Para 3. I expected it to be just another good working knife in my collection. Then I got the Allen Putman Micarta scales and a Lynch Northwest clip and it now just lives in my pocket. I will say the knife I'm most looking forward to is the Civivi Rustic Gent. I'm dying to get one in my hand.

I'm going to guess the best knife to be a Benchmade Bugout they are always super popular. I bought my first Benchmade this year and its was a less talked about but I would live to see it in a future video the Benchmade Vector Great assisted flipper knife. I upgraded from a cheap crappy knife around $35 I carried for a couple years. So happy I made the jump.

That first Kershaw looks almost exactly (same blade and handle profile and look) like my favorite EDC, a Ganzo FH 51 which is only $20 and D2, bearing pivot, G10, deep carry clip, tip up and lanyard hole. I know they don't sell Ganzo and this is about knives they sell but want people to know about the best deal I've seen in respect to knives.

I would love to see a video on small fixed blades 2 to 3 inches for scout carry. Working knife so easy maintainable blade steal like 1095 or cpm 154. Not a defense knife only. Before watching the video, I predict the best pocket knife will be the Benchmade Bugout. I got in with the Blackout hype. Personally my favorite is the Ace Biblio micarta. If we are going strictly by sales then probably the Böker Kalashnikov series was the best selling lol.
