Question: Do you play golf? Always thought the principles of the hammer throw could be applied to the golf swing.

How would you explain a guy like Bence Halasz, who threw almost 80 meters in U23? Since he does lean forward. Off course he is extremely powerfull but does this mean he increases the radius off the ball, while keeping tension even in his position? Loving the video's!

That’s a great point. first and foremost, I think it’s important to recognize that there are exceptions to every rule, especially at the elite level of sport. Additionally, bence is a very powerful guy, who learned how to throw very far with light implements, his technique is more or less permanently ingrained. Lastly, I think he does still manage to have a bit of posterior pelvic tilt with his hips in his throw, despite his chest being forward

absolutely right, keep you seated and not back squat position. you're right, except for heel first turn like Sedykh Who tend to have a good morning start and because of heel and great pushing thé ball on thé left far outside he 's able to have a great catching position. So maybe talking about this main difference between heel first turn/entry opposite to toe first turn entry where this front squat position is more efficient. Keep doing the god job. Where are all improving by sharing. Shuss.

When I throw hammer, I tend to start with two orbits but I tend to pull myself a bit and fall a little off balance when I go through them. How would I be able to fix that?
@SDthrows5 жыл бұрын
Michael Lee relax and let the ball pull you back into balance each turn
