I was a JC + Enchanter in BC. I can attest to it being extremely beneficial for arenas/pvp. This time around I think I'll focus more on PvE tho, just haven't decided on feral tank or resto main spec. Leaning towards resto though I think, since I was mostly a tank back then and it would be fun to play it through as a different spec. Thanks for the video!

I am gonna do Herb/Alch on my 2nd toon which will be a resto druid. Alchemist stone trinket ftw. Flight form and Herbing is just too good to pass up. Didn't want to do Tailor/Enchanting again as my warlock already has those proffessions.

Sweet! Just switched to Enchanting and LW as 4 spec druid - free respec alliance Karazhan... Though consider: 4 stats is scales of sand reputation in the early patches. So you will only get 2 weapon damage early on. I always thought that 2 dmg is almost the same damage when playing a feral dps who is powershifting. Seems like I am wrong!?

The weapon damage scaled ridiculously on a couple of servers I played, I need to go back and look at the math but it was about 20odd ap per point (don’t quote me on that I’m no where near my pc)

Great vid! I'm rolling feral druid and I wanna do both PVP and PVE . To both grind arena gear and hopefully get some OT spots in raids or MT in dungeons. Which professions would you use in that case? In other words, which of the three (ench, LW, JC) is most expendable when mixing pvp and pve? Seems like drums is almost a requirement in raids. I'm thinking LW and enchanting myself, but I wanted to hear your opinion on it.

he reccomends ench+jc for pvp. I think to min/max you could enchant all the stuff you need and then drop it for something else.

Good vid, I am just having a hard time seeing 8str and 8agy make much of a difference in pvp, or a massive difference in pve (Not bashing you clip, don't get me wrong). I am just curious as to how soon I would replace the Alch trinket as Feral (For a better one ofc). Still making sure that what I chose now does not need to be replaced asap in TBC because I made the wrong choice xD

If you're just looking at the initial trinket for 108 attack power, there's probably better. Slayer's Crest from Sapphiron is 64 AP with an On Use, he doesn't show it but there's a very good trinket from Badge of Justice vendor that has significantly less AP (like 80) but a chance on hit Haste proc so that's at least 1 very good trinket you should be able to get very easily. I'm in a different boat. I hate the idea of mandatory profession stuff like Drums and Sapper, I'm already Feral DPS and Enchant/Alchemy so I'm wondering if the BoP Leather is worth it. Let's look at the Primalstrike Vest for the moment. 108 Attack Power 38 Agility 39 Stamina Compare that with Ghoul Skin Tunic that I'm wearing right now. 40 Strength (+8 from 5/5 Heart of the Wild) = 96 Attack Power 2% Crit (In TBC at 70 probably adjusts down to ~1-1.5% crit) 22 Stamina The TBC LW items will have more Attack Power all together, sure. Is that worth losing the ring enchants, alchemy trinkets, and all the possible gold generation from those two professions? I don't think so.

It’s not that big of a difference but it’s still an advantage. You gotta remember none of the professions really make THAT much difference to you personally, it is just min/ max

@@Suckynewb Also, you forgot that the talent for Heart of the Wild changes in TBC. We get +10% bonus AP, not +20% strength. Also this decreases the amount of bonus AP from Ghoul Skin Tunic. This makes the final difference between the two: Primalstrike - 108 + 38 = 146 (+ 14.6) = 160.6 AP - 38 / 20 = 1.9% crit Ghoul Skin - 40 * 2 = 80 (+ 8) = 88 AP - 1-1.5% crit This means: + 0.4-0.9% crit and + 72.6 AP in favor of Primalstrike

@@DanielMaaskant That makes much more sense why there's seemingly no Strength on Leather gear. I'd certainly hope crafted epics leave Naxx epics in the dust. I'm not super familiar with TBC, but Primalstrike just looks like it can't be THAT good. I did some very light searching and with the HotW revelation doesn't the Wastewalker set look prime for Feral DPS? You get over half your hit rating by using 4 pieces (pretty sure you need ~142) plus a bunch of sockets. Could probably put this conversation off until there's a database that doesn't suck major ass.

I cry everytime you put up gear on the screen.. Give pre 2.0 itemization! At least then the content will be a bit harder from start. And the goblin trinket is bis for pulling.
