The BEST starting zones! - Teek & Tormax - Everquest TLP

A quick video looking at starting zones in particular ones you SHOULD definitely try to level !
not all starting zones are made equally and these ones in my opinion are better!

Call me odd but I really like stating in Qeynos. Qhills and BB are great zones to get to level 8 or so really fast. Then kill bandits til 12 or so and do the sash quest for plat. Then off to CL to bind and go from there.

Qeynos area is severely under rated, and everyone just has the same lame complaint about it "it's so far away from everyone else" and yeah making the bumrush to crushbone then unrest is probably the fastest you can grind if you really care about that. but You can get to 30 easilly from Qeynos area between Qhill, blackburrow, the karanas. And you also have some great cash camps along the way, bandit sashes, treants, paw gnolls drop fine steel. And not a lot of competition. And it's just fun to not lvl every singnle character you make along the same path.

To me Qeynos/qeynoshills and FP/commonlands are veeerrry similar starting areas for young adventurers. Both newb areas are condensed with high spawnrates and the potential for a higher level mob now and then to create that occasional drama. Both secondary areas have some camps and access to pretty decent noobie dungeons and then access to other classes/races to adventure with.

Too bad they don't revert the zones to the old zones. So much better fun. Also, Magic are no longer on items. Ak`Anon is a nice XP area in the bertox area too without even needing to leave the city.

Totally forgot about the recent removal of magic ! It was a huge pain on Yelinak

Nektulos has the instant re-spawning lvl 2 decaying skeletons at the wizard spire. 4 spawn points (+2 others that can be higher level things like regular skeletons, zombie, or mummy). It also has 3 good orc camps for full groups around level 6. And the wisps are great for money once you are closer to level 9. And the halflings in nektulos don't attack you if you're an agnostic dark elf (or innoruuk worshipping ones).

I enjoy the camps of Leatherfoot for their skullcaps. That quest gives some good experience... if you have the bag space to farm those dudes you can level up pretty fast without ever touching orcs (other than the rando that comes strolling by)

Evil Erudites are available straight away! The hole still needs dragons to go down, typically done on day 2-3

Very true, i remember now, it was a major pain on Yelinak! totally forgot as it went as its was only ever an issue less than lvl 20! ive edited that part out of the video! thanks!
