Plant GCI TTTF blend. Disclosure: it has 3 cultivars and 2 have lateral spread. I'm about to overseed my side yard with that soon. And other side and front yard(corner lot) with a Kentucky and rye blend(full reno)

if you are going to do 2 TTTF in the back back- do the blackout and on the other side try out the GCI TTTF- I'm looking to do one of them companies but was thinking about doing just KBG- going to do a full reno next year "first I have to save up for irrigation system, tired of moving sprinklers"

i planted Ryan Knorrs ttf on a friends lawn in spring this year. Would love to see that side by side to see the difference. I have his rye in my front yard and it has done amazing. So far the ttf has done great even with all the 100 degree plus days and a new seed. Super happy with it, but would love to see a color difference and germination difference as hind sight. Do a KBG of mazama and after midnight in the small area “test plot” and then do the blackout TTTF in the back back. Then u have all of the cool season grasses and can compare

Request review: Please harbor freight backpack power sprayer. Also, I always use blue dye when spraying Tanana. Been fighting clover but lawn looking pretty good, so I don't want the Tanana bleach out for sure hitting it hard this September

Looking forward to seeing the TTTF in the back back. I'm weeks a way from doing the same in my front front. I'm going with Twin City Resilience II blend TTTF. Its got the 4th Millennium in it for some self healing & the NTEP on it shows great color on all 4 cultivars.

I’m following your lead and starting my full reno, 4,500 ft2. I sprayed glyphosate four days ago and the lawn is looking healthier than ever…? No browning at all. I put down a pretty good amount but maybe I haven’t waited long enough yet.

Bruh, that Badger is nice ! It’s cutting like Scag even. I 4” cut tall fescue with an Ego 21” and it’s cool but definitely have a fair share of missed blades. Ready to sell that Ego for that Badger for real👍🏽.

We cut our greens at .125" but its miniverde ultradwarf bermuda, we stopped growing bent, I love the way that webb looks on your bent though. I am looking to get a mower for home and I can't choose between badger or ego, after seeing this I think I have my answer.

The only other TTTF that’s worth it is Heritages’ Artimuss TTTF. It has lateral spread cultivates AND treated with Gravity PGS. Hands down best TTTF I’ve come across. I’m planting this Sunday up in Puyallup. I can email you updates if you want and have a discount code if you want as well!

TF is the best. tried Scott’s TF in spring, horrible. Doing an over seed with fireball hat trick in September since a I have some pretty healthy rye in most spots. I hit a hunch of spots with glyphosate and that stuff was browning in hours with this heat.

Manual…. Fiskars stay sharp is always good I love mine and you can add the harbor freight wheels in the back for epic stripes…. Check marketplace and Craigslist and OfferUp they go cheap instead of buying new 😊🤙🏾

I wonder if you ever have heard or tried Barenbrug Turf Saver RTF (So called Rhyzomateous high Tech used in ball fields). I like my grass on dark green, highly resistant to heat (I live in Oklahoma) but also a bit traffic tolerant so I can have my nephews and son playing around in the backyard without worrying about damaging the turf beyond recovery. I noticed you are going Blackout Turf Type Tall Fescue. What would you recommend?
