Could you if you immediately washed them? Yes. But can you keep them separated from towels you use on your paint, and is the risk really worth a couple of dollars?

No. You need the surface to be absolutely squeaky clean without any residue of polish, waxes, sealants, quick detailers, etc.

It depends on the specific formula. Some must be removed immediately after small sections (we hate these types!), while others can be applied to the entire car before removing.

If it's within a few hours, you can put more coating on top of it, let it sit for a minute, and wipe off. That usually does the trick. If it has cured, then you'll need to use an abrasive polish to break it down.

Using the same technique for coating the rims spokes. Also, why bin the towels? Use them for cleaning rubber parts, hard plastics or engine bays... Otherwise it's waste

Not waste at all. How would you know which ones were used that way, and kept separate? It's not worth the risk, and if you're doing it for a living, your coating business should generate more than enough profit that some towels here and there aren't going to make your shop expense skyrocket.
