I like a nice balance between armored and comic book. The Arkham Origins Suit is fantastic. Knight's armor looks too robotic for my taste. Dark Knight suit looks great. But I also have a soft spot for the lighter 70s suit when used seriously, like in The Dark Knight Returns.

Baires Moreno To be honest though, for what Batman' suit is meant to do, protect him, house gadgetry, have some symbolic bat features, and be stealthy, the military-style armored suits in Dark Knight and Rises makes the most sense. It looks like a stealthy military grade armor made by a tech company with a cape and bat features added on, which is what the suit is supposed to be. It's Wayne Tech military contracted black ops armor tech made to look battish.

The Arkham Origins suit is my favorite. I like the overall idea of the Rocksteady suits, but something about his cowl throws me off. Overall Rocksteady tends to overdesign things to Liefield early Image Comics extremes.

Cian Byrne I think he would look sillier without the eye makeup as seen in Batman Returns when he takes the mask off. The eye makeup actually makes the actor's eyes appear more piercing when they are playing Batman. The arkham games aim for a more realistic cinematic look so that's why he has the "makeup" which magically vanishes when he takes his mask off.

The '89 Keaton suit is a HUGE favorite of mine. But at the same time, you can just tell it's the first of its kind. The first suit Kilmer wears is like a slimmed down, HD version, save for those infamous bits, and a cartoony batbelt. Also, Kilmer feels like a regular cosplayer imitating Batman. But maybe that's just me.

The Batman Beyond suit was my favorite. Sleek and stealthy and filled with all sorts of high-tech stuff. It even gave the wearer super strength and the ability to fly. I also like the minimalist look, and the Batarang design.

The Dark Knight suit sure looked like motorcycle suit, but it was the first ever Bats-live action suit that was fully bulletproof. It was made entirely from Kevlar, and that what makes it awesome. I hated Keaton's suits, they looked soo rubberish and not batman-ish.

Timppa 3 they stated that it wasn't bulletproof because they knew the audience. The suit itself was heavier than the BB one, so they had his way of telling the audience that the suit is light and less heavier than the previous one while its not. The real life suit is made from real kevlar. But yeah, Affleck's suit made shed a tear, best one yet.

The 'Batman Noël' suit is personally my favourite. The bat logo is incorporated very nicely, the cape has a very nice look to it, and overall it strikes a nice balance between fantasy and realism. Good thing it's playable in 'Arkham Origins' (which I have) and 'Arkham Knight' (which I have, but can't play because of my current GPU). Runner-ups would be 'Batman Beyond', 'The Dark Knight Returns' (the second suit that he wears, when fighting the Joker), the New 52 suit, and 'The Dark Knight'.

I liked the Batman Begins suit best. I think they could've found and given a way to move his neck in the mask without completely changing the suit's look. With that upgraded, for me anyway it almost looked like the Bat logo on the center essentially almost disappeared and it at times I almost forgot it was ever still there.

I don't care for Burton's Batman film, but I fucking loved that '89 suit. Those shadows that could be cast over Batman's eyes with that headwear is my favorite visual regarding any adaptation of Batman. I also liked how it looked all dirty and gritty, it told the audience that Batman's experienced in crime fighting and that he's been through some shit. When it looks all clean and shiny, it just looks like someone dressing up for Halloween in their newly bought Batman suit. I also liked the abs, but that's just me.

A well-done, short amateur film titled BATMAN: DEAD END featured a suit made mostly of cotton jersey which allowed the actor, former bodybuilder Clark Bartram, to move very easily. While the lack of any armor made this Batsuit completely vulnerable to bullets, it allows the audience to see the wearer's real muscles & the actor to be seen in dramatic poses - it IS a movie...

I liked Bale's suit down to the utility belt. Do they still call it the utility belt? Anyway. The cowl and armour looks really cool, but from the belt down it gets kind of meh. Like the designer kind of lost interest. The plates are more notably rubbery and uninteresting, his nobly knees are weird, and the boots are just black boots with nothing interesting going on. Sorry...I'm a designer. Just curious if anyone else thought the same.

My favorite suit is the Nolan suit introduced in _The Dark Knight_, and I love that the cape is cloth. I guess my next favorite would be the suit in _Batman Returns_, then _Batman Begins_, _Batman_ '89, and then both suits in _Batman v Superman_, with the armor one preferred over the cloth one.

89 Suit was the best IMO. As a qualifier though, it could look kinda goofy in a real world setting. It looked amazing because of how it was shot. I read a thing where Burton and Keaton spent months working together on how Batman would move and how the suit would be shot. It was so carefully considered. Keaton said they'd do tests and he'd move in a certain way and they'd just laugh their asses off at how stupid it looked. I think it's not always considered how much prep they put into making the 89 Batman look kick ass when there was zero template for it back then.

The Arkham Knight Suit is by far the best looking current suit. They really should try to do that kind of Suit in a Movie even though it will look kind of more like an ironman suit with CGI and all. But the Head that can be taken off by pushing a button just looks so great and futuristic while still not taking it way over the top. The Trailer of the Arkham Knight Game with the recording of Thomas Wayne and Batman suiting up really was touching. I hope they bring more of the Arkham Games into the next Batman Movies. I think the Batman V Superman Movie will probably be a mashup of Arkham Knight, the Dark Knight Trilogy and the Frank Miller Comics + dark knight returns animated movies.

Similar to the version 8.03 from arkham knight, the plates are titanium dipped hardened tri-weave plates, likely made of kevlar, mounted on an elasticized spectra bodysuit with interwoven nomex. Weak points are between the plates. Much more mobile than other suits, but less resistant to bullets and knives

Arkham Origins. If there was one thing in that game that was Spot-On it were the designs. I never liked the Nolan_Films Style of the suite because of that wierd face. Dunno why, it's just - off ... Origin's Szit was AWESOME! The Arkham Games did (IMO) the best interpetations of the Comic's Suit(s).

My favorite is still The Dark Knight/Rises suit. In the actual movie, most of his suit is actually covered in shadow for a majority of the run time, except for the interrogation scene, which only shows his face. When I look at a still of Bale in the suit, he looks like Batman, not someone TRYING to look like Batman.

That wasn't a gap in the cheeks of Keaton's first suit though. It was just how thick the cowl was and light cast a shadow. You can tell with how the cowl's thickness varies from under his chin to around his cheeks. Funny thing is a cheek gap DOES appear once he's in his Returns suit and turns his head during quick shots. His head turns but the cowl struggles to. My favourite so far is Affleck's but will have to wait how that looks on screen. I favour long ears but I think it's time to see how the nubs look. I do love how the new one appears to have a cloth like layer over it which will be more comic book oriented. The only aspect I do not like are the gloves. They just don't appear to gel with the rest of the suit's look to me.

i hate all this "must be comic accurate bs" the suit is more practical than grey spandex. what would your rather wear in a fight? spandex or painted millitary armour? The spandex looks... dumb. also blue and grey? people would see you from a mile away. black is more stealthy. armour over rubber

WyvernKiller02 i also dont want to watch a comic book. i want to watch a movie. i want seriousness. i want good writing. not comic book remarks. i want to think that this is what batman would be like if he were in the real world today. i imagine you saw the dark knight. would you rather the unmatchable performance of heath ledger (rip) or some idiot in an arkham city joker costume. would you want an over sized luchadore or a man that can brake the bat. and we can all agree anne hathaway is better than a cut up leather jacket.

It shouldn't be spandex it should be like the Man of Steel suit, like a cloth made of light Kevlar cause Batman is usually trained in martial arts fighting styles which requires a lot of moving even a brawler batman does and a thick heavy suit is too heavy to move with ease. And he only needs Kevlar on his chest and cowl really cause he's blending in with the shadows usually and the cape flows so it throws the enemies off when he moves
