In this clip with Becket Cook, he shares how he found Jesus after searching for meaning everywhere else. I also ask him about how he accepted and understood what the Bible actually taught about homosexuality and if the Bible is actually clear on this issue.

I'm sorry, I haven't watched the whole interview, and maybe I'm grasping at straws (not sure that's the right cliché), but does he talk about an actual salvation experience of repentance more than just the "Holy Spirit...boom...and I cried..."? I'm not trying to be critical. He says some great stuff to be able to possibly point Brandan Robertson followers to but the kind of testimony that was heard in this short video is very much a hyper-charasmatic or even word of faith style idea of salvation, which isn't salvation at all.

Melissa, do you mean what other clip from your interview would we like to see, or do you want suggestions on other topics for you to discuss with him in a future interview? I really liked this clip as well. His passion is infectious! :D And you mentioned there's a link to his book in your description, but I can't find it anywhere on your resource page link.

For an interview subject, I would love to hear his thoughts on a solid coalition to combat the movement to groom children and advance the demonic Trans tragedies. Michael Knowles, Jordan Peters, Charlie Kirk, etc. So many notables are focusing here, and I'd love to see a solid consolidation of those voices moving to provide a network f truth and support.

I am an alcoholic in recovery. On July 7th of 2003, I had my moment of clarity. I was raised by a raging catholic father who hammered me with catholic schools and dogma. I came to believe that hell was my final destination no matter what, that God hated me. Even after I got sober, I really didn't believe God cared about me or knew who I was. I always knew God was real, something told me that. I went to thousands of AA meetings, AA, through God touched me, taught me, saved me from myself, gave me a program of steps to point me where I needed to go. I had a higher power, I just thought he hated me. I had a friend that kept telling me to ask God to reveal himself to me....I thought that was crazy.... but I did...only a few times expecting nothing. On the morning of September 11, 2005, I was on the back of my motorcycle on a trip to Colorado. It was a stunningly beautiful day. The sky was blue....huge....I could breath. I was looking out at the surroundings, not yet to the Rocky Mountains but they were visible in the distance. I suddenly started feeling a peace in my heart unlike anything I ever felt before, I was simply blown away from the beauty of the earth......I started crying, in complete joy, my heart opened, I was so taken that I had to stop my motorcycle or fall off it. I stopped at a crossroads, stood in the middle of the highway with my arms outstretched to my sides and cried. I kept repeating over and over " it so beatiful...just beautiful". All i could hear was the wind in my ears. Then I realized my friend of 36 years riding on his motorcycle with me had probably thought I had lost it. As he sat quietly watching me. He asked me if I was alright and I told him that I was not only good but felt completely at peace for the first time in my 46 years of life. We got back on our bikes and had a great trip. It was later that trip that I realized God had reached out and laid his hand on me. I knew he loved me...undoubtedly loved and cared for me. It's amazing he could care for a sinner like me. I have tried to do better, I pray for direction and forgiveness. I try not to sin, but i am human. He is my savior, my example, my strength in weakness. He is my Father...

Romans 5:11,15-19,21 KJV And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement. [15] But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. [16] And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. [17] For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) [18] Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. [19] For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Beckett, you are so discerning. You have figured out and have allowed God to show you that “His will be done,” not our will. For myself, I am very petite. I remember a high school acquaintance telling me I would probably never be able to have children. I was even hesistate to have children because I knew it would be difficult to carry a baby (I was tiny at 4 lbs myself) so I was fearful of this. But I put it in God’s hands and let him lead me through this. Whatever pain I had to go through, I made up my mind to trust God and His will. Very similar. I went on to have two children (it was life threatening and difficult) but they were perfect and now we have two grandsons! So….by trusting God we have so much more than we could ever imagine. May God continue to bless you because you are very special in God’s kingdom. You have traveled the hard road and are entering through the narrow gate my friend. Hugs to you.

The description of homosexuality as a lifestyle is a blatant oversimplification of human sexuality in general and homosexuality in particular. Such indoctrination of the collective societal psyche is paramount to both the formation and maintenence of the self validating delusion of heterosexuality possessing moral validity. The reason that we never hear the term " heterosexual lifestyle" is because there is no need to categorize heterosexuality with such descriptively inherent connotative oversimplification in order to subconsciously justify contempt and hatred through subjective comparison. The reason that you don't have sex with men is because you are heterosexually oriented. And, contrary to the religiously indoctrinated lie, you did not choose that orientation.

To be honest, not all Christians experience such an overwhelming and powerful emotional/spiritual experience when they get to know Jesus, many Christians simply reads the Gospel and believe it, believe that this is true that God is real, and Jesus is Lord who died and rose again and from then begin to follow Him.

@@nikokapanen82 Correct. Getting saved isn't some emotional experience, but an unseen inner change made by God's grace. You may experience an emotional reaction to that change, but the emotion is not the change itself. God changes the inner man at the spirit not the emotions. Likewise biblical love (charity) is not an emotion. You can tell someone be warm and be full of food and not feed them (James 2:15-17) but your emotion doesn't help. True love is an emotionless action. You feed them and clothe them because they need it, because you're trying to be more like Jesus. You may not even like the person but if you love them you will do these things. It's what you do. The other person however will receive the gift of love and often have a powerful emotional reaction. They will know that you helped them when so many others would not. They will be willing to listen to what you have to say about Jesus and love, once they have experienced a small fraction of that love from you. You may be the only Bible some people ever read. And then there are other times when it all hits you at once. God's love and mercy. Our unworthiness. Jesus' incomprehensible sacrifice. BAM! How do you keep a dry eye? How does this not drive you straight to your knees in thankfulness and worship? Can you imagine the overwhelming flood of emotions the minute we get to Heaven and meet Jesus face to face? Because I can't.

Your depiction of God's boundaries as guardrails reminded me of a radio show I heard 30 years ago by James Dobson (I think) but he described God's boundaries in a way that I use often when talking with people about why God sets boundaries. He described being many floors up in a downtown hotel for an engagement. He said the room had a walk out balcony that offered a beautiful view of the city. When he looked out onto the balcony it was only because of the railing that he felt safe enough to walk out and enjoy the view. That boundary allowed him to enjoy that moment and that view because it provided safety. God's boundaries are just like that, they allow us to fully enjoy our lives within the safety of His boundaries. Of course he explained it much better than I do, but the concept is surprisingly lost on many people who say they are Christians.

I was once a homosexual. Being the daughter of a minister, you can imagine my struggle. For a while, I thought I was "Born This Way. I even came to terms with God never forgiving me. Until I got on my knees and asked God himself. I said that if it was a sin and against nature to simply do a miracle and heal me. After all, our God is a God of miracles. Just like any person who is sick and needs a miracle, I asked for one. I said "Jesus if homosexuality is a sin, then please heal me because I choose you over everything. God answered and helped me. 🙏 he did a miracle, and since then, I haven't looked back. Christians who accept homosexuality are only foolish themselves. God is very clear on Homosexuality like he is about fornication. But people will fornicate still, the trick is that we love God over our sins. When we do, God rewards us by helping us overcome temptation. Salvation is worth giving up our old nature. To say that homosexuality is not a sin is to deny that God did a miracle on me. I am living proof. Praise be to God!! Those progressive Christians need to repent and stop fooling themselves. The word of God can not be compromised nor changed for the sake of fitting in with the times.

We all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God Roman's 3:23 ...Remember, Jesus came for the sinners.....I lived my life as I chose for 60 years...I believed there was a God but did things my way..I guess you could say I was a none. At 58 I was diagnosed with stage 4 Ovarian cancer and had mere months to live...I prepared to die and started some conversations with God during my reflection time at home. That was in May 2011.....by May 2014... I had come to understand what our Lord had done on the cross through the Bible reading I did every night and the conversations each day with the Lord. I turned over my life to the Lord and all my sin and regrets when I asked Christ for his forgiveness and turned from my ways. There was utter joy in my heart and that weight of sin was gone....I found a great church to grow in and I was nominated and served as a Deacon for five years. God has blessed me so much and I have lived a good life in Christ....I am ready to go home whenever I am called back to my eternal life...and that is a peace that surpasses all understanding✝️⬆️🙏

Please pray for me! Im 24 and I once was an active homosexual, and it’s been almost 2 years since I recommitted my life to the Lord and I cut all connections with that life. It’s been very difficult, mostly struggling keeping my mind pure and keeping in the word. So please pray that the chains i so desperately want to break will fall. My dream is to be a public speaker and talk about the concise biblical teachings on homosexuality and my experience, and inspire to not identify with sin but identity with Christ

That is so wonderful, the Lord works so amazingly. I was delivered by sorrow. I lost someone and was crying and begging G-d to forgive me. I felt myself be delivered, I could feel the spirits leaving me. It was absolutely mind blowing. All of my former desires were all gone. I am a new person. I craved to read the Bible and pray, more than I craved food.

I like his last point. I agree that premarital sex is just as sinful as homosexuality. Something I wish many others realized when they come down hard on homosexuals. Everyone's taking about how being gay is wrong biblically but people aren't putting that same type of emphasis on straight fornicators which most likely comprise of more people then homosexuals. Maybe more people in the gay community and in the fornication communities could get saved if they realized this. Not sure if im making perfect sense but speaking from a philosophical standpoint. Thank you for bring this brave man of God on your channel. What a blessing to hear his testimony❤ Thank you Lord for your mercy and Grace.

It's amazing how many people call themselves Christians and never open their Bible! Read the first chapter of Romans. The Bible is the Mind of God revealed to anyone that is interested enough to care what He thinks about it.
