The spirit bomb is made with GENKI which is life energy and different form normal ki. That's why its called the GENKI DAMA. Everyone has a bit of genki but not a lot. That's why the androids don't give unlimited energy for it.

Yeah, the androids don't have unlimited health. Just stamina. Giving to the spirit bomb drains their health, which would affect their stamina if it wasn't unlimited. That's why other characters giving seem exhausted. Giving their health wears down their stamina also.

The way it could make sense is the androids can send a huge chunk of energy but the energy regeneration takes some time to top up again. Unless their energy regeneration is instant it can be infinite and still make it impossible for them to send unlimited energy for the spirit bomb

I have a simple theory on why the androids can't just provide infinite energy: They kinda do, but it isn't all at once. It's a matter of time, basically. They have an infinite energy supply, but can't use it all at once. They never run out, but can't just dump however much they want. How much they can use at once is relative to their skill and power with ki. This sounds paradoxical, they have infinite but can't use infinite, but I think I have a good example to explain with. Let's look at the vacuum of one ki blast. They can't make them infinitely powerful because of their infinite ki, but they can always supply as much as they can control. It's a limitless supply, but that doesn't mean they can use infinite all at once. We now expand from the vacuum to a ki volley. They can keep shooting all day because of their infinite energy. Giving energy to a spirit bomb is like a ki blast. So much at once, but no limit to how long they can give out energy over and over.

Always interpreted Spirit Bomb(Genki Dama) takes Genki, which is more like the "living energy/life force" of a being. This is different from the raw Ki of a person; I don't think Goku or any fighter has a billion times more genki than anybody else just because he can output more ki, nor the androids just because they draw from infinite energy. Think of the massive difference the Genki Dama makes with donations from everybody on earth, these many individuals with low "power levels" making a massive difference to how large the Genki Dama gets, this is not the kind of energy we're usually dealing with in Dragon Ball. It doesn't just take genki from people either, as Kaiosama says; "From all life, plants, animals, people, even the air". (By my interpretation that means the Genki Dama in Supers is a bit of a stretch, but that's Supers).

No...Freezers Tail was cut of in his 1st or 2nd form by kuririn...And this Part was missing in all other forms. It was not the Genkidama.

Its implied that spirit bomb also takes stamina not just energy. People seem actually tired/winded after giving energy which shouldnt necessary be the case if they just gave energy. If it does take a certain ammount of Stamina then the androids would be limited by this too and not just by energy

The androids might have infinite energy but they can't release or gift it all instantly if they could they would be infinitely powerful, stamina vs strength

The solution I've had to this and similar issues is pretty simple. The androids have infinite energy, yes, but not infinite output of said energy. They could theoretically output a beam attack forever, but they couldn't increase the strength of it beyond a certain point. This would also explain why cell needs both of them to be perfect. He can get double the output with 2 infinite energy sources

In the Funimation dub of Dragon Ball Z, Yamaha says he does a spirt bomb before Goku gets to King Kai planet. I think it is dubbing issue because how would Yamaha know it before Goku even met King Kai?

Just the other day I was thinking about the androids/cyborgs and just what was the source of their infinite energy and I theorized that they take energy from their environment similar to how the Spirit Bomb works. We know Gero had been studying Goku and his battles all the way to the fight with Vegeta so he probably figured out how to replicate it in a way via his technology. And we see that energy gathered from the surroundings along is very powerful. With just a few seconds to a minute at best of gathering it, Goku had enough to one shot Vegeta had he the chance to unleash it and the one used against Freeza almost killed him. So if Gero figured out not only to gather it but also infuse it into something or someone it wouldn't be hard to believe that they would be very powerful. Plus it would also explain why they can't be sensed since they would blend in with their surroundings.

Remember energy was used to awaken Buu, maybe that is why it was the only attack that could defeat him. Spirit energy is good, Buu is evil the spirit energy was the only thing that could combat the dark energy of Buu's life force likewise its ability to combat the dark life force of Omega Shenron.

Tgis is just my head canon, so take it with a grain of salt. I think that the genki dama is only able to kill evil. So whenever someone someone gets hit with one, they receive damage relative to the amount of energy it contains and how evil the person is. The evidence for this is shown with all the people who got hit with it. Of all of them, only one(two if you count GT) was killed. That was kid Buu and Omega Shenron. Both beings were pure evil. The rest were heavily damaged but didn't die. Compare Buu to Frieza. They were both hit roughly the same size genki dama, but Frieza didn't die, whereas Buu did. The only two characters that were implied to be pure evil were the two that were killed. Frieza was said to be an evil person, but there's nowhere was it implied that he was pure evil. No mortal has been shown to be pure evil.

Bruh genki is life force energy which is why plants and stuff can send energy when they have no ki. Androids have regular amount of Genki but unlimited ki and i believe no chi. In most anime life force energy is an entirely different energy source from the main magic system

There only 4 times the spirit bomb actually worked. World’s strongest (DBZ film 2), Tree of Might (DBZ film 3), against kid buu, and against Omega Shenlong. Other times that it was used and failed for plot reasons.

Well for 1 thing the Spirit Bomb targets evil energy, Gohan was able to deflect it in the Saiyan saga because he was pure of heart, Buu was wholly evil making it like a Super Effective move in Pokemon amplifying its damage. Also the energy given is stronger than the humans normal power, Tien used life force to use the Tri Beam which made it many times stronger than the Kamehameha, life energy boosts ki tremendously and the Spirit Bomb uses life energy itself so instead of a human that has 1-10 power level when they give life energy its much more than that so that mixed with the powerful fighters (Gohan and the gang) giving their energy where Gohan would have been powerful enough to kill Kid Buu on his own its a safe bet they had more than enough energy to kill Kid Buu

Your explanation of spirit bomb is wrong. Genki came uses the life force, genki is its own energy. Genki is a small part of what is used to form energy. The androids don't have energy in the same way, but they are still living beings, this have genki. The androids have infinite stamina so don't feel winded like other normal humans. The spirit bomb is not just energy, its a particular type of energy. Spirit, body and mind make energy fighters use for attacks and raising battle power, spirit bomb is made from only that component.
