Downpipe and manifolds for longitudinal 1.8ts are a little more limited than the fwd stuff but it's still very doable. Your Passat would share chassis and engine parts with a B5 A4 so there's some cross-compatibility there.

You should do a tutorial about knowing how to use the Eurodyne program and how to tune your own car. The parameters around the numbers and all. Would be awesome like a little series or something I’ve been wanting to learn

It is something you just have to do. Someone can show you over and over but you will not understand until you actually do it. Similar to someone teaching you to ride a bike. They can explain it very well but you just have to get on the bike and learn how.

Liked the video before I started watching it! The lagoon blue is arguably the best color of the MK4's. I had one years ago with all the bolt on parts and it was good fun. Looking forward to more content on this car.

Really surprised your channel doesn't have more subs, its knarley. 3071 is such a great choice on the 1.8t. It will definitely be much more spool happy on the street than the 62 series. Those AEM meth kits are great for so many applications. I've used them and the Snow kits and I prefer the AEM. Good video, clean gli

Garrett turbo's in our opinion are the most reliable turbo. They typical out live the setup.

Depends on power goals, turbo size/brand, manifold design, space constraints, MAF or MAFless, MAF housing size... not a straight forward answer

Do you guys have a discord or a forum I could join we just did a ko4 swap and a bunch of other crap too my gti it has a multistage apr tune on it but now it smokes a little bit (pure white smoke) and when I go for a pull it boost cuts at 5 k rpm then runs in limp mode basically but the cel isn’t flashing at me or on and it runs and drives great other wise any tips would be greatly appreciated!! Edit: I’m assuming it needs tuned again but I’m winging it at this point lol it still smokes and boost cut with the tune off

As long as you're running the proper hardware the tune requires it's unlikely the tune. Sounds like you have other issues going on.

Its cause it was a Hodge Podge of parts which made it unique in both hardware and software depending on year. That's the main reason. If there's a decent tuning solution for it have at it.

Check with VDCS (VagCom) for Fuel pressure reading, if it’s below I believe 40bar it’s probably the HPFP (engine fuel pump) that’s failed, seems to be more common on CCTA TSI motors but the BPY FSI’s are also prone to HPFP failures especially with the cam followers

Hoping you can give me some advice. With Eurodyne, how do you adjust the idle fueling? I can't figure it out and currently idle at 12 AFR! The Main fueling table only goes down to 1000rpm. Also is it possible to turn off the Deceleration Fuel Cut?
