Think of clubs or classes you'd like to take with the added feature of women more likely to take them also. Adult classes in your area? You have to think of where they might be and put yourself there, regularly. But it is still possible to meet her anywhere if you are ready. If you saw her standing 10 feet away from you, could you do the approach?

I have a lot of the traits of a sigma male and I think I have found love. It is a little early to tell, but so far it really seems right. I met her at a Super Bowl party and she and I shared a table with a few other people. I took a chance and told her that I would like her number before we left. We have been on four dates so far, including two this weekend. She really got frisky this weekend, which is OK with me. Your points are spot on. A reason why I prefer to remain single is because I value my freedom above anything else and will not have that taken away from me (again). A reason why I prefer to remain single is because the concept of "The One" is strange to me. I find so many ladies with who I have a beautiful yet deep (often non sexual) connection with, that I don't want to give that up. With monogamy often comes possessiveness, jealousy and restrictions, to me those are three massive red flags. A reason why I prefer to remain single is because a lot of ladies (and I do respect that) prefer 100% monogamy for life. That concept does not fit with who I am, that concept does not fit with my lifestyle. Some people tell me that it's time to settle down (at age 35) but I like freedom and there is the selectiveness (pickyness😅). A reason why I prefer to remain single is because I know exactly what kind of lady I fall for, yet it's hard to find. I'm very lucky that I don't have to chase women, women (and sometimes men) start to chase me yet I do not engage in flirting (back) if they do not have the traits I seek no matter how beautiful they may be. I compromised in the past, regretted that and promised myself to never do that again. I am open to love, yet many women flirting with me seem to want me for long term 100% monogamous, house, kids etc or as a bonus father for their child. I respect that, but it makes me anxious just thinking about it as that is not what I want. There is so much to do in the world, there is so much to discover in the world, there is so much to learn in the world whether it be the mechanics of a black hole, decoding body language, investigating the strangest mysteries or learning a new cooking recipe... I will only settle down with a lady who values freedom just as much, who is a curious mind just as I am, who lives the way she wants without caring what other people say or think and with who I can do fun stuff to our hearts desire with, yet share a room in quietness when both reading a book or doing our own thing. Until that time, I'm more that happy being single.

I'm always fascinated by videos about people trying to understand people like me. I'm even more fascinated by people such as the Your Wingman, whom I greatly admire, trying to give advice to people such as myself. We are who we are and operate on our own resonance; we can't change the frequency of our behaviors. The advice given is more descriptive rather than adaptive. The things you say we should do is more explanative of what is woven into our behaviors rather than something to be adopted or emphasized. This comes across as someone trying to explain to others how we function rather than useful advice to us. As sigma males, we have no loss of interest from the fairer sex, the challenge is screening companions to our proclivities, which we learn to sort out rather quickly; and they exist in exceedingly small quantities.

@@YourWingmam Stigmas have high intelligence; this is synonymous with adaptability. They are sigmas because of their ability to adapt. So asking what adaptive advice would one give is the wrong question to pose. Other than high adaptability characteristics, a Sigma's mind is the same in all other regards. So if a Sigma is having difficulties in finding love, the question is why are they not succeeding in adapting in their coupling activities? Prior experiences, both good and bad are the most likely culprits for failure to adapt. Positive experiences tend to narrowly focus search parameters for exact repeats rather than analyzing what where the general parameters that lead to the initial encounter. Negative experiences lead to overly broad exclusionary criteria hoping to avoid even the faintest whiff of a repeat. What makes sigmas internally tick is their ability and affinity for analysis. But even they can go astray in this regard. Rather than create analysis factors based on other's desired attributes in others, the analysis of what you're looking for should be on what you value. Mine goes something like this: I value humor, beauty - internal beauty first, external second, and intelligence.

The first thing though, that I think about on this topic is that there are gobbs of Beta males who walk around with a delusion that they are Sigma males, and in that case, all these observations about all this degrade down to just wishful thinking on the part of the hapless Beta Males. Personally I think of these classifications of people to be somewhat fluid because circumstances can easily change and that is just part how things are.

For many men whom I have worked with, the lack of effort comes from anxiety caused by previous negative life (relationship) experiences. Sometimes being introverted is actually confused with social anxiety. We keep ourselves safe if we don't put ourselves out there but then one cannot meet someone either. As long as you do your own work and increase self-awareness and do the healing work necessary, there are women who do not want to a social butterfly as a partner but someone who creates a supportive safe base for her. At the same time, if lifestyles are too different it is harder to make it work. There are introverted women out there too who like more quiet activities.

Liked the video and the cat .The biggest challenge I think sigmas face is finding a woman with some depth in this day and age . Some women can be complete stunners and there is a light on but nobody home . I'm not saying they are dummies because good looking women are really socially intelligent but they are just too much work by and large from my own experience .The same can be said for social intelligence of lesser hot women because they probably get hit on more than the real hot ones , This is because the real hot ones are intimidating to most guys . Having a sister who is super good looking ,I found most guys were really intimidated by her even if they said she was amazing . My sister also spent a lot of Saturday nights watching TV because she got fewer offers for dates than a lot of her girlfriends . I've dated some really good looking women and some lesser beautiful women and figured that if you didn't at least approach the good looking ones it was as good as a no anyway . I'm really and always s have been more interested in what's under the hood over a roll in the hay . I'm interested in a good friend and someone who wants to see the bigger picture over this dating game stuff . I'm more interested in what a woman brings to the table here, because she should at least be able to cook something edible, do some old fashioned skills like sewing and be a help mate . If she figures she wants to just hang out and be well groomed , I can get a dog or cat for that . I think old fashioned picnic sack races were a metaphor for togetherness and relationships .It's really clumsy when you start out but then you get each others rhythm and things go a lot smoother,but like anything else there are gopher holes and other obstacles along the way in life's sack race. It all boils down to perseverance and often times little victories that make you ask if it's really worth it, but in your heart you know it is because this is what true love is about . It's been shown that women are the first to leave a relationship 80 percent of the time and that percentage increases by as much as five percent a year. Those are tough odds for any relationship and I think this is one of the failures of the women's movement .Still odds are just statistics and people have always been known to defy statistics .Something to be said for the blind hog in all of us. Yup, you sure nailed it in describing my traits. All these years I've considered myself an oddball (and not caring) since I'm happy and independent. It's only recently I've discovered there's a name for it, Sigma Male! My real relationships with women have been few, but of good quality when it happens. I think another 'word' to be used in lieu of Sigma is Chicken-Sh*t. Thats what iv'e been most of my adult life and suffered in Love and Lady contact as a consequence. But the alone stuff has filled the blanks, plus the set mission in life. And a ton of patience. Your videos and another Ladies strengthened my resolve to ask a lass for her number. It kind of went pear-shaped. A Sigma supposedly has the intimidating directness and honesty that can result in an emotion overload for the recipient (scary for them). Watched a video the night AFTER my approach which highlighted this fact. But all part of the learning curve which Anna provides for us incompetents. lol. And to keep working at it. Thanks AMJ

The 'balance of 'Independence vs intimacy' is the tough one. Especially when you've been on your own for so long. Someone comes along that you like or give a chance to, even though you aren't sure about them. I noticed I start to lose my sense of solitude, so I have to pull away. I'll even do things to subconsciously sabotage the situation. Yet, I still feel the pain from that and not having the feeling of someone wanting me after getting a taste of something that I haven't had in a while. It's like a catch 22. Perhaps I just haven't found the right person.

As an Introverted Sigma, surprisingly, I have mastered all except the deep connections since I haven't met that many people who are willing to open up to discuss deep topics while listening to my wisdom/insights and appreciate me for who I am. I have also always been open to finding friends that value and understand who I am and the silence. Especially for being open to love, I have been praying/hoping and manifesting meeting a woman who will become my wife without compromising my values and beliefs or settling for anyone just like my dad and stepmom believe.

You're so right about sigma's not being willing to utter trite phrases like so many others do (juice isn't worth the squeeze). Instead, he makes his own, which in most cases is just using ordinary language without any cutesy jingoism to it. Basically, he doesn't want to create, what may catch on, to where he himself will grow sick of it. IOW, he highly values original thought and he abhors what passes as common knowledge, when it's said the exact same way every time (be original, put the exact same train of thought into different words - your own). Nice for Anna to pick that up, because I'm not sure I've heard that on sigma videos before, and it is all too true.

I'm kind of sick of all the names sigma,alpha,beta...no matter which one you are,the socitey is toxic as a whole and there is no love out there anymore. People SAY they want it but they do everything opposite to what used to be normal. To sum things up a bit,people are shallow and superficial and they're going to regret it after a while.

I feel I've grown into a sigma male in a lot of ways. I just don't feel the need to follow the assembly line since I don't like society's standards very much and want to embrace life on my own terms at my own pace. Alot of people end up acting and being the same "normal" way to me, creating what feels like a boring and/or unfulfilling experience. So, you said my issue well: I wonder what is really worth it. That's why I learned to look for the right people to accept me as you said since having no love or friends is better to me than bad or unfulfilling experiences. This was good. I do love my indendence; I find myself thinking that I would be happy being married but living apart. Not because I wouldn't care for the other person, but because I would want the time I spend with her to be spent on her and us and the time I spend alone to be spent on my hobbies and personal goals. I am for sure not the type to cheat, and I am for sure the type that needs personal space. To be honest I am very content being alone. I have a firm grip on my finances ( thank God for His many blessings and lessons ) and I don't really care what other people think about me, I do listen to them though because I am not dumb enough to think I am perfect. I try to make myself the best me I can be. I know that I am looking for a quality woman and I know that I do not need a woman to make me happy. I think that if I ever pair it should be mutually beneficial, but if she is going to be too much work I am definitely not interested because I have things I am aiming to accomplish.

Man, oh man, you're making sure I can't misinterpret anything. I'm honored. For what it's worth, if you were a man, you would be a bit of a sigma yourself. I'll call your presentation, nearly bulletproof. It's already kind of a game. You find people in the world and observe them to understand their motives and what makes them, them. Reverse engineering them to the events that likely formed their tendency to respond in certain ways, or doing a bit of poking and prodding of their intellects, for the sake of finding their contours. Nobody is above the human condition, but it's possible to understand the typical responses you find in people enough, you can largely think independent of the general mindsets you find out there. I suppose it takes a bit of inner reflection and humility to start to rise above conditioned human responses, but that's what's hard to find in anyone. I think, like anyone, we want to find somebody that's not so far from where we're at in life, so we can relate to them enough to be able to grow along side them. Sort of like saying, we're all on a journey, and it's good for someone to be on the same path, near the same point as you, for the sake of walking the path together, and sharing the journey intimately with the other. True partners, with a purpose to boot. The path, perhaps in an oversimplified view, is walking to the universal truth, in the truth, together. It's very hard to find somebody that is on this path, let alone somebody that's near to where you're at. Ideally, people near one another along a shared path, will be both teacher and student to the other. A large gap puts people in either a constant role of mentorship, or being mentored, which isn't nearly so fulfilling. It gets lonely. We all desperately need to be loved in our lives. For the sake of enduring, I try to remain thankful for that which I have, instead of being spiteful for what I'm denied. If life has taught me anything, it's that I'm low man on the totem-pole in regard to intellect and perspective, especially in consideration for what's ultimately good for me. It's rather humbling when you begin to realize how limited the human condition really is. It's still lonely, but that's not to say I don't get it, at least to the extent I'm capable.

I've noticed I like it when the woman makes plans or comes up with ways to get me out into society. I know I put off the solitude vibe and all the Sigma traits, but I really enjoy it when I get "drug" out to do activities by the woman I like. I'm often on the sidelines observing and planning what I would do if shit hit the fan, but I love seeing my woman smiling, laughing, and doing her thing. Even better if she periodically looks over at me with a smirk or wink. And comes over to "check in" on my "wellbeing".

I have recently found out that I am a sigma male; very comforting to find out, since it explains a lot of what I have experienced in life, and comments people have said about me (positive!) during the years. It also explains my experience with women. But I am curious about what type of woman I am most suitable with alpha, beta or sigma? I have thought about it, but have not really figured it out. My ex wanted a beta male and that did definitely not work out, but of course not all alpha women are like her.

Hmm interesting question! Sigmas can fit with any type but are best suited to Sigma women who understand their Sigma needs. But Sigma women are rare. Next best is Beta. Beta or Alpha women simply need more verbal communication of your Sigma needs. Hope this helps!
