My son had a CyberPower prebuilt computer with an MSI motherboard. The background image was the MSI dragon. That motherboard died, and we replaced it with I believe an Asus board, and flushed the hard drive for a fresh install. When it booted up the first time, it had whatever background image came standard, I think the basic Windows one. On that boot, he connected to his Microsoft account. On the next boot, the background image was the MSI dragon, something that shouldn't have been on his system at all. I had a different machine with a Microsoft account that used Office. This machine was a huge tower with lots of drives in it. There was a name in the list of machines connected to my Microsoft account I didn't recognize. When I clicked on it to see what it was, I immediately recognized it because of the number of drive and the approximate used capacity of each. I understand that Microsoft ties Windows to a particular motherboard, but there is absolutely no reason for Microsoft to even know how many drives I have to do that, much less the approximate free space of each drive. You're not paranoid if they really are watching you.

Our cameras take pictures when we travel that include other people in the background. A person under house arrest shows up some place else on a person's cell phone and A I has facial recognition soft ware to convict a person for not being where he said he was. But even more disturbing are dople gangers! People born to other parrents that look just like us! I have a double named Jeff who dresses just like me and looks just like me. Look up dopple gangers on you tube. You could be convicted of a crime having the same face of the criminal and be identified by law enforcement for a crime you did not commit. Our invasion of privacy reminds me of the movie "Enemy Of The State." with Will Smith.

Rob, I appreciate how you continue learning and reporting on it for us! Now I learn how what I thought was my idiosyncratic penchant for learning to type my comments has paid off in privacy! Also the fact that where I live, ANY phone use while in the driver's seat is illegal. Other benefits to non-speech recognition: I would type my comments so I'd remember what I said - my memory is in my fingers. I noticed a loss of memory capacity when I started to forget phone numbers because I was no longer punching on keys when I called. I used to know by heart around 300-400 phone numbers in the past - but now, mostly the numbers are in my contact list, not in my memory.

Hey All. He's right about voice recognition. I was arrested on JANUARY 18th, 2020. Before I was allowed to call my family and notify them of my present situation. They (The Corrections Officer) gave me this long one page paper to ready into the phone several times until a computer voice said ok. It was just a bunch of random paragraphs that meant nothing. After completing the process. I was allowed to make my call. I realized that they recorded my voice print. Now the government doesn't need to see you're face. Any time you speak. They will know right where you are. Now that's good and messed up at the same time.

Some spend hours watching historical videos, yet others watch cat videos and text with others for hours each day. I agree with your point: all of this is readily available. That is what most vices have in common. And if it is not readily available, one would not just give up, but spend a great deal of time and effort acquiring, like a good-looking partner, a luxury vehicle, an expensive article of clothing, or a novelty gadget.

I have purchased mini spy cams to no avail, they would just come in and take the SD card out and either erase any images and put it back, or damage the card where I cannot use it anymore. I heard you mention "Targeted Individuals", If you know anything Organized Stalking, you know that I cannot go to law enforcement because too many of them are apart of it. And fabricate fake video of you doing some crime, according to the old movie _Total Recall._ I recall an episode of _Star Trek TNG_ in which Data, when he was taken over by some alien presence, imitated Captain Piccard's voice, and locked everybody out of the Enterprise's computers. And rattled off a verbal password so long that nobody but his android self could even remember all that. Of course we know back in the 1990s, that the actor that played Piccard, Patrick Stewart I think it was, simply voice-acted that part, and they made it look like Brent Spiner has spoken it. In fact, that was largely my idea for better data compression of video-conferencing Skype or whatever, before internet data became so fast. That way, the image need not appear so smeary or so lagging. They could simply make a model of your head moving, and a model of your voice, and then transmit lesser data to animate it and put words into it, and it would seem like a rather good impersonation of you, but really would be you speaking, well sort-of. I wonder if they are already so advanced, that mere voice-acting is enough, and that video game characters might automatically sync their jaw movements to appear like they are speaking what is in the recording? And imagine if they could do more realistic text-to-speech. Why even bother with the voice acting? Indeed, _Portal Prelude_ a prequel game to _Portal_ , seems to be but merely computerized text-to-speech, not even having real voice actors. It was a pretty decent game, and if I wrote a game, I might do it that way, thinking to add in actual voice actors later, if we ever get the extra funding.

And sometimes these episodes can be a good thing when struggling with a problem too hard for my brain to wrap around which could work to the advantage of the A.I. to help to develop a relationship which is dependant & addicted to the point that it becomes a high for me to be on it like a narcotic. And Biblically this can become excessive and take the place of prayer and Bible reading from an actual book and not on a phone that hears my private most intimate struggles and could use potentially dangerous recomended content to plant me at the scene of a crime by simply dialing someone's number that I have never met before and repeat crank calls to various numbers in this person's address book call list on their phone and create video suggestions related to what I like to watch and use this info to convict me as having an association with real criminals who i never met, and use the media against me and persuade a veiwing audience not to believe in my innocents but to deceive them into thinking that "i am connected." A.I. can not only be addictive but it can mess with our innocence but it can lead us to commit idol 'latry against our faith in God. Lastly: "Absolute POWER corrupts absolutely." -- Author unknown

Friend of mine noticed that my wiper blades needed to be replaced, and he told me he had watched a KZbin video of how to take care of wiper blades by cleaning and oiling them. He has Alexa in his bedroom and we both use iPhones. I use Siri for directions, making phone calls and for setting up the timer. He also has the door camera video set up that also picks up audio, and according to him it is very sensitive. I don’t know if the door cam is connected to his Alexa setup. The conversation happened outside, on his driveway about 40 feet from his door cam monitor. Two days later I received a KZbin suggestion of the same video he was telling me about. The question is which system picked up our conversation? Or was it simply that our phones are linked and we both use KZbin. We both had our iPhones in our pockets.

Hi Rob, I'm 8 minutes in. I am very security conscious, and would like to correspond with you about my protocols. One aspect you haven't broached yet, every company that one calls records our voices. I am sure our voices get back to-not Google, Amazon, Apple, or Microsoft-but the entity that has the heads of those companies as agents, I think of the term, "agent," in the context of contract law. To disallow recordings of our voice is to do away with doing business over the phone. I always steer away from phone business if possible, and would rather correspond. They record your voice, but will not share the recording. If you record a conversation that they are recording, they will hang up on you. In my thinking, any company that records a phone call is aware of it being recorded, which gives me legal ground to record the call.

Older versions of Android natively support off-line voice typing and it's possible on a rooted device to force Speech to Text to use only off-line diction, and it works pretty well even on older, slow android devices, and as far as I can observe it's not storing and sending info unless it's doing it through another system service. Newer Nexus devices include off-line voice dictation option but I'm not sure if it's doing voice printing on the device and sending data later.

When I was in a counselling session, in 2019, before all the current situation started, the counsellors Alexa responded to something I said about the weather at the start of our session. I realised even private and confidential counselling sessions weren’t private and am so reluctant to go to counselling now. That’s why I just Pray more in secret, from my heart now to God rather than talking. And I’ve decided I’m only gonna speak words of Life out loud and keep the personal stuff in my heart, and have more personal, private, quiet, secret heart to hearts with God My Heavenly Father through Jesus Christ my Saviour by The Holy Spirit my Helper. He understands when I don’t even use words! Or even talk! He gets what I’m trying to communicate because He understands everything and every person.

I thought you were going to address Google and Amazon's ability to synthesize your voice. Imagine these companies possessing the abiltity to synthesize from a voice print speech patterns for real time conversation.
