@@Notpoop906 who said he would've? That's not the point, the point is that fighting is ganes last resort for only building his brand so he can get more movie deals, he rarely fights anyways so clearly he doesn't need to fight alot to get things moving, one fight or two fights is enough for the year. since he gets payed movie deals he doesn't have to sacrifice so much head trauma unless he needs that extra income, sure he had to build rep in the fighting world so he could get extra income doing movies, but its helping him stay away from ufc as much as he can, most fighters have no choice but to do these fights so they can pay the bills, good income from acting is better then brain trauma dumb ass, gane doing a few fights a year is besides the point

As a French, I know a little more than non french-speakers about Gane's carreer, since all the informations come from his interview or his streams. I want to clear the rumors and the misinformation about the film: its more ufc's fault than Gane. The contract was done one year before the shooting, and Gane did all he could to fight before; yet, UFC did not proposed him any fights until the month were the shootings has been done. Gane and his managers did all they could to fight, but Netflix and UFC couldn't agree, and there is too much money involved in the movie. Yet, I think there's still a problem with Gane; even though his teammates say he trains everyday, I think he's not hungry. The Jones loss hurt him a lot, and he probably knows that he could not pass Aspinall due to his poor ground game. One last word: I shall mention his headcoach and manager, Fernand Lopez: this guy is a shark and arguably sets up boundaries to Gane's training. His environnment doesn't help him.

I'm not a Jon Jones fan. But he was absolutely right about Cyril when he said that he wasn't going to lose to someone "who doesn't know if he's [Cyril] going to be here." And he was right. Cyril isn't going to be here.

He’s got great footwork, timing, very good Muay Thai especially at heavyweight. Hes nothing like bob sapp lmao. Sapp was just a big dude who threw sloppy and relied on size. Games a very skilled striker with great in and out footwork and good set ups/reads. What sport are you watching lmao

@@leebinpoggersmomento6101 if his footwork is awful, who at heavyweight has had better or equal footwork? He got caught once by tai going backwards that don’t mean his footwork isn’t good. How many HWs can switch stances, change angles, float in and out ect. He fights with his hands down and relaxed. To do that you need to understand footwork, distance and angles. What gym do you train at where the HWs are moving like that?
@leebinpoggersmomento6101

@@letmegetuhhh3959 His stance switches are irrelevant, his angles have no fundamental backing and his floating in and out meant he linearly retreated against tuivasa with his back to the cage and got clocked clean on the jaw. Pavlovich if he's not gun shy, Miocic if he isn't washed, Jones, Aspinall and Blaydes if he doesn't run into a knee or something, all beat him in under a round.

Gane thinks he's entitled to title shots without fighting anyone below him, that's a real sense of entitlement, Tom,Sergei they went through the whole division to get where they are Volkov too now, it will be interesting to watch Volkov vs Gane.

Yes, any normal person would rather shoot a movie than get punched in the face. So then why not just retire? If he can shoot movies, make videos, and make money doing anything else, why not retire? Why fight volkov? Turning down a title fight is crazy, and it doesn't make sense in any way other than Gane being scared. He is an athlete, not a warrior.

As a french, Ciryl Gane knows himself that he overachieved. And that is good enough for him. He became known in France and have some side business now. The UFC is just to give him some light and relevancy. But going straight to the title was an excuse not to fight and to duck as many contenders he could before being in the need to fight.

@@beaualoevv Tom wasn't unknown. He was a high risk low reward profile. And there was a like London/Paris Rivalry after the cards in those cities. Like said in the videos, he refused the interim fight against Aspinall and Pavlovich. Gane is strong but doesn't hit hard. And the Jones fight hit his credibility hard. Maybe he didn't realize it at this time.
